Lovely food, great salads, all fresh and delicious Service was spot on with helpful friendly staff. Organic wine was good too, even the decaf coffee was lovely! Will be back soon.

Very disappointed. We waited a long time for each course the starters were good, when the main courses eventually came the roasts were good but one of our party had a burger but that was overcooked, there was a lot of staff about but nobody taking notice when we wanted them. Asked for dessert there were 2 missing the ones we wanted and it wasn’t late 3 asked for coffee but the machine was broken but could have instant, then another member of staff came and said we couldn’t? Everything took along time even the children were getting board and they had a play area. More organisation 2 1/2 hours for Sunday dinner !

I have been to The Pantry many times but this visit was a little disappointing. The food was OK but not like previous experiences and the price for a Sunday roast costs £17.50! The staff were friendly as always.

The worst food experience ever, bad service and bad food. Do not go there.

Our first time eating at the Shepherds Rest, and it won't be our last. Had the Sunday Roast, which was really delicious and good value. All of the staff were terrific too - helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Once again food was amazing, staff and atmosphere amazing too. It never disappoints. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, best Italian ever.

Lovely food and service. An extensive adult menu and great childrens menu. We had the fishmongers board which was plenty for the two of us.

We had a great meal. Food was really tasty. As others have said the Lamb pie is sublime. Service and value excellent.

Lovely surroundings, staff good and friendly. Food was nice although a separate jug of extra gravy for my steak pie and chips would have been nice. I'm sure if I would have asked I would have got it ! Will happily return, maybe for lunch sat outside enjoying the view

From the service to the food is definitely 5 stars. We will definitely be returning. Those garlic mushrooms are to die for.

Popped in for an early evening mid week meal yesterday. Hadn’t been before, but will certainly be back. Lovely food - I had the lamb and halloumi burger and my partner had chicken shashlik. We shared the cod goujons nibbles as a quick starter. All was delicious, the service polite, friendly and speedy and the beer delicious. We hale from Stockport and would expect nothing less from a Robbie’s pub!

We visited on the 6 June for a family birthday. The food and service were great. Lots of choice on the menu, all 6 of us had something different and we all really enjoyed our meals. Staff really efficient and polite. 5 stars.

Lovely meal & staff sadly the night was spoilt by rude diners arguing with each other . And almost fighting ! After this finished I ii go to the bar to see a customer speaking to two of the bar staff like they was something she stepped in ! lovely food & the staff are really nice and helpful but I’m not sure i will return due to the customers it attracts
