We found our dining experience at The Golden Ball an amazing one, the service was great and the food was beautiful, great value for money and we can't wait to return for another visit :-)

Excellent meal and attentive staff thank you

First time there for Sunday lunch and hopefully not the last. All very delicious, hot and attractively served by very pleasant staff.

Disappointing anniversary celebration. Several issues with good order . Crab / advocado starter had absolutely no crab in it , just prawns and I know my seafood. San peligrino water never arrived as ordered . Rest of the food order very tasty . But ambience, not suitable for a romantic anniversary dinner. Restaurant full of children and a very miserable maitre de!! Grumpy and unfriendly. Won’t return. ☹️. Did complain to two different members of staff about my starter , but it fell on deaf ears . A lot of very young servers , with poor interpersonal skills . Our waitress just ignored my comment completely. There are plenty of other restaurants we can spend £140 . Not a cheap meal . Expect better service. Oh and the ice machine broke , and the ice was reserved for cocktails only . Not impressed. Send someone out to a supermarket to buy some . Don’t make your guests feel awkward, asking for ice , for their drinks .

We have been here around 5/6 times now and will certainly continue into the future Superb restaurant, excellent food, service and atmosphere. On this occasion we were celebrating our sons birthday and we had a fabulous time.

Unfortunately we were disappointed due to such slow service. We have always had fantastic meals and service, hopefully just a one off. Maybe staff should be allocated to look after certain areas/tables?

Very accommodating in changing our booking time. Good service and quality. The pizzas were especially delicious. The desserts were a little disappointing. The lemon cheesecake wasn't tangy enough, and the tiramisu didn't have enough coffee or alcohol. A good meal overall though

Excellent food and service for our Sunday lunch. Highly recommended.

First time for afternoon tea at Toms Table and we weren't disappointed. We went for option 2 with Prosecco - the food was delicious, a modern slant on afternoon tea - sticky chilli sausages, crunchy coronation chicken and smooth tomato and tarragon soup. Fingers sandwiches and gorgeous cakes were also included - macarons, mini lemon meringue and black forest cakes, totaly delicious. Unlimited tea and filter coffee was included with the tea alongside a comprehensive drinks and cocktail menu. Everything was outstanding as was the service - very attentive without being intrusive, warm and friendly without being over familiar. We will definitely return and would highly recommend a visit.

Great service. Food delicious. Had avocado and crab starter, sea bass with zucchini, daphinois potatoes and spinach. Affogato with mirto to finish. Great wines.

Great Food , Great Service and Great Prices. Took Mum for a surprise Birthday Lunch and chose The Traders Arms as they gave a good selection of food to suit everyone, and for Mum who doesn’t eat Veg or Dishes with Sauces or seasoning there was plenty of choice besides the usual Fish and Chips on offer at most places . We arrived to a warm welcome, the food was hot and delicious, although I was a little disappointed with just the 2 Sausages with the Sausage and Mash . Mum had the Scampi which came with chunky homemade chips and they accommodated Mums needs and swapped the Garden Peas for Beans. The Mint Aero Cheesecake was as equally delicious and we left full to bursting. We will definitely be back

Another fabulous meal. Service was excellent. Food was excellent.

Amazing food last night. I had the meze board and the lamb shank with feta fries. Absolutely superb! Staff very attentive as well and kept us topped up with drinks. Definitely recommend
