3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeI’ve been meaning to come here since it opened and just never got round to it. I wasn’t disappointed at all! Quite possibly to best full English breakfast I’ve ever had :) the lattes were very tasty too. Would definitely come back very soon :)
Bread and Butter – PrestonThe food, service and atmosphere can only be described as excellent. Would recommend Papa Luigis for a great meal out
Papa Luigis – ChorleyI really love this place and have eaten both the lunch and dinner menus. The hummus wrap is amazing and the sharing fishboard is the best thing,!!! The service is great and it has a friendly, culled vibe that leads to a great dining experience.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterWhen we go on holiday we like to try restaurants. We try the first, love it a lot, and then continue to try others until we realise we should have stuck with the first one. So, we learnt from this and living down the valley from Rawtenstall we tried A'Vucciria and loved it. So much so that we haven't got round to trying the others. We go as often as we can, and take family and friends to let them enjoy all the delights on offer. Everyone leaves with a smile and a full belly. This trip was with our Besties, who have travelled from Manchester and Preston. As usual, A'Vucciria was the food destination, and as usual it was busy, but not intrusive. The staff were great, the Manager is so friendly and honest. The food is excellent, and the choice is more than enough to satisfy all tastes, and we still haven't tried everything. I do feel sorry for the other restaurants in Rawtenstall as we tried this one first, and being so fabulous, we haven't gone anywhere else, yet. Although having learnt from many holidays, why would we?
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFirst time here for lunch on the 24/5/22. Gorgeous ambience, attentive and professional staff. Star of the show was the food absolutely delicious. Fantastic presentation , great choice , tasted amazing. Best meal that my husband and I have had in a long while. Will be back .
Toms Table – ClitheroePopped in for Sunday lunch, very busy but service really good, kept informed of food arrival and food was excellent and good value for money, happy days
The Station Hotel – LancasterI had read an excellent review about Trawden and it said the Trawden Arms food was fabulous, especially the Slow Cooked Beef Sunday lunch. It did not disappoint. We went for the first time yesterday Sunday 22/05/22 and it was very quiet, but a lovely young man came over straight away called Jay and he showed us to our table. Other people then started coming in. He was really nice and we had a bit of banter with him, which he took in the spirit it was given. The starters were really nice and generous. We had all ordered the Roast Beef Sunday lunch. It was the best Sunday lunch we have had and we have had a few. Everything about it was amazing. The chef came to our table and thanked us for the comments we had given to Jay. We also had dessert because a proper dessert (in my opinion) Crumble with custard was also excellent. We will definitely go again and I personally am hoping that the Goosberry crumble was on the menu. It is a MUST to eat there.
Trawden Arms – ColneBest Sunday roast in Preston
Bread and Butter – PrestonWe visited as a party of 12 celebrating a family birthday, the staff couldn’t do enough for us & made sure we had everything we needed. Food and drinks were great quality & very tasty, even the kids enjoyed their pizzas. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food, service & ambiance & thought it was great value. Will definitely visit again.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallExcellent plantiful food. All staff very efficient and attentive. Will be back Thank You
The Station Hotel – LancasterWe had pre booked a table as we were coming by boat and the weather forecast was unsettled. Glad we did as it was busy when we arrived for a Saturday lunch. We had the Cajun chicken burger, hanging chicken kebab, scampi and gammon. All meals were cooked nicely and arrived quickly. The extra onion rings we ordered were huge! Friendly service, good selection of food and drinks. Will be back
The Waterwitch – LancasterExcellent food good value for money
Verdes Restaurant – Chorleyamazing atmosphere and food! such a varied menu and always made to feel welcome every time I've visited. staff and customer service are second to none. the jewel in the crown for Rawtenstall
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallExcellent food and service again from Adam, Jo and the team. Thanks Jay for your excellent table service.
Trawden Arms – ColneExcellent and friendly staff delivering efficient service. He couldn’t fault the service we had and the food that was provided. There was a little blip with a starter but it couldn’t have been dealt with more professionally. These are the things that highlight good customer service and that’s certainly what we got here.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWhat a find! We had a breakfast there for a family birthday. The staff were amazing, very courteous, attentive and helpful. The meals were just fantastic, very good value for money. We will definitely be back
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonToms Table - Wish we could eat at the table every day We booked online, easy to do, and came on a Friday night at 7pm, we were welcomed by a lovely host, who showed us to our table and told us about the Specials. The menu is modern with a twist of French Classic cooking. The ambience of the restaurant is warm and welcoming also. We had for starters the Ham Hock Fritter and Chicken Liver Pate both were excellent. For mains we had lamb which fell apart it was so good and the wife had Seafood Fricassee which was plentiful and delicious according to her. For dessert I had the Ginger Parkin which was not too sweet and again delicious, the wife had a French Martini for dessert, questionable dessert choice, but she loved it. The wine choice was a good variety and there was some special wines available also. Overall we will be returning either on our own, with family or friends. Thanks to all the staff. The background music was a fantastic selection.
