Papa Luigis – ChorleyI have known about the Shepherds Rest for some time. I have been on walks with my partner and my dog and needed somewhere to rehydrate. This place is absolutely stunning! The views are to die for. Danielle is a really nice host and nothing is too much. I am hard to please at times but i really don't have a bad word to say about this place. We will definitely be back with our Parson Russell Terrier Gromit soon. Thank you Danielle and all the staff behind the scenes.

The Barn – PrestonWe are regulars to papa luigis for special occasions and this visit was just as good as all the others. Everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recce this restaurant
Papa Luigis – ChorleyCan’t fault our visit last night. Amazing staff. Delicious food. Fine wine. Good atmosphere. What’s not to love about A’Vucciria?
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallBrunch 1 - 0 Tapas Brunch was SO good. My husband had a small full English and I had the best Eggs Royale I've ever eaten and a pot of loose leaf tea. All great quality with nice attention to detail. Enjoyed it all so much that we booked again for Tapas. We found this underwhelming and overpriced. I was less than impressed with the prawn dish. 4 tasteless, frozen prawns in a piqante sauce for £9.50 just made me cross. The chicken gujons were lovely but the tiny pot of salsa with it, which should have packed a punch, was totally lacking. The salmon fishcakes were delicious but the sauce with them could have been either red pepper or tomato? Piri piri chips lacked seasoning we asked for salt and pepper for them. The sticky ribs were very tasty and the meat fell off the bone, we ordered another bowl. The accompanying salad had no dressing - a pet hate of mine. We won't book for Tapas again, but I have heard good things about Sunday lunch from several people and will give it a whirl.
Bread and Butter – PrestonFood, ambience, value for money all spot on as usual. Service was not as good as normal- we had to ask 3 times for water for the table and it arrived just as we were finishing our main course. I appreciate it was a busy evening, being A level results day. Perhaps water for the table could be delivered as standard to every table as standard during to ensure staff are not being asked for it, or they could ask if you want it when taking the order? Thank you
Papa Luigis – ChorleyAmazing food and service. Will be returning soon
Bread and Butter – PrestonWe came for my daughters 40th Birthday lunch. Service with a smile Got attacked by wasps! Yes my daughter was the run running past other diners waving her arms lol. We all had a great time and it was so relaxing not being rushed to eat and leave. We will be back and highly recommend the place. Ps. Don't eat beforehand Portion sizes are amazing. I'm so sorry I couldn't finish it as it was well good xx
Bread and Butter – PrestonWe went for a family Sunday lunch (6 adults, a toddler, and two dogs) and had the best Sunday lunch we have had for a long time. Food was excellent (and plentiful), staff were welcoming, attentive, polite and helpful, and the pub itself is a perfect "classic" countryside pub. All together excellent and we'll be back when we're next anywhere near!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleLovely visit yesterday afternoon as always the staff was helpful and the ploughman’s meal was really good especially the scotch egg!
Rileys Taproom and Wine Bar – ChorleyGood food, gorgeous views, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Thank you for a lovely evening
