New Hall Tavern – PrestonMartina and Jon have worked wonders to provide a very welcoming establishment. We stayed here on our wedding anniversary - food was fantastic, accommodation very clean and provided a very peaceful nights sleep. We took our 4 month old son with us and the staff went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. Great base for walking in the area, great scenery and away from the crowds. Highly recommended!
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeThe buffet style meal was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. The kitchen is visible to all diners and the chefs work hard keeping the buffet supplied with hot freshly cooked food. The waitresses are very polite and helpful and clear your table as you go back to the buffet for more!! The price was unbelievably cheap for what we had to eat and we will be returning again soon.
Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BurnleyI organised our orienteering club's annual meal at Huntleys this year. We were the first to use the new extension, tables and chairs. Everything was very well laid out, quite often you feel squashed when out for a large group meal but not here. The food was wonderful and the service superb. I've had a lot of positive comments from the people that were there, many of whom hope to visit again for a quieter meal.
Huntleys – PrestonMy husband I celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary, All our guest were overwhelmed and couldn? fault the service, Ambience and the quality of food it was second to none. The Pines is a place my husband and I dine in on a weekly basis and always enjoy our treat, the staff are so helpful and friendly, Quality of food which at times may seem a little pricey but on presentation well worth it. We Highly Recommend the Pines and would like to take this opportunity to thank all concern for their first class service and giving us some happy memories.
Haworths Restaurant at The Pines Hotel – ChorleyNot a bad Indian restaurant - nothing particularly original but good quality standard fayre. They have kingfisher, Carlsberg and Tetley? on tap/draught, which is nice.
Sangam Balti House – PrestonThis is a really great restaurant. A couple of dishes I recommend would be the tandoori chef's special and the chicken tikka khari masala. It also does a great tandoori chicken that's served on a sizzling dish with onions. We've travelled to Rusholme to the curry mile but to be honest the Mitali is well up there so why bother travelling!
Mitali Tandoori – AccringtonThis establishment has recently gone a face lift, due to a fire, I thing. However the transformation is amazing. The food is amazing. Your really cant go wrong if you eat out here or you want to impresses.
The Elephant – ChorleyGreat place, menu sometimes limited but the food is generally superb. Staff are classy and attentive - owner is slick and friendly without being overbearing and knows everything he is serving which is a great help if you don't know what you want. Room is a bit tight but adds to the intimacy. All this for a very reasonable price - no wonder you need to book early. Marvellous
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonPleasant comfortable surroundings with a welcoming open fire. The 3 course Sunday lunch represents excellent value and good no-nonsense traditional English fair. One of those rare dining experiences where no- one is trying to rip you off. A very pleasant experience.
Greendale View Kitchen and B&B – ClitheroeWe only live locally and visited a few times last summer with some friends we had over from Australia. We promised ourselves to make the time to go more often. We went again for the first time since last year last Thursday and had a lovely meal. We missed James though, I don? think he was working as he always spares the time during the night to some out and chat with you.
Truffles – ChorleyI have visited this restaurant at least once a month over the last 2 years and whether I have sat in or had a takeaway I have never been disappointed, it really is that good!
Beijing Restaurant – BurnleyI'm a regular visitor to the Hospital Inn and I haven't got a bad word to say about the place. The atmosphere is wonderful, very relaxing music in the background, and the staff are so friendly. There is an extensive menu, plus a snack menu and many specials boards in particular one for vegetarians, fish and even a curry menu. The drinks are quite expensive but the food is not so it all evens out. The main dining area is no smoking so it doesn't put you off your food. Service is always quick and with a smile. We dine there with people who come from Darwen just to eat there and enjoy a nice evening. We all go back time and time again as it's such a great place.
Hospital Inn – PrestonI am a lover of tapas and me and a friend came across this place a few months back. The food was fantastic, every dish was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. I've been back several times since and have never been disappointed! I could recommend so many dishes but i'd be here all night. Go and try, it is superb!
La Salsa – DarwenSoupanova is utterly super! The service is outstanding,a real friendly and interesting bunch! The menu is very diverse, with something for everyone. Once tried never forgotten. Congratulations on such a lovely place, just what Lancaster needed.
Soupanova – LancasterWow, what value for money... 3 courses and a bottle of wine for less than £19 each. would highly recommend this place and the new owners Frank and Barbara are very friendly and helpful a+++
The Derby Arms – PrestonCouldn? fault anything about the place, food, service all were outstanding. The location is wonderful. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely be returning.
Mr Freds @ Stanley House – BlackburnI had to write a review on Tinos, being a regular visitor and never once having a bad meal there. The food is always wonderful with plenty of choice on the menu, the staff are always helpful and attentive and I think it is run by an Italian family and they are always the best restaurants to go to! I would recommend anyone to try Tinos especially as it is not just pasta and pizza on the menu, plenty of authentic Italian cuisine is available.
