What a gem of an Italian restaurant, food was great and lovely staff who all appeared to be Italian, definitely worth a visit.

Angelos – PrestonA little disappointing. The food did not live up to (high) expectations, could do better and I hope it does.
Vedas – Todmordenwhat a good view over Pendle hill, food average
Wellsprings Inn Pendle Hill – Clitheroeexcellent food & cheaper than other Indian restaurants around....this will be our new regular.
Mitali Tandoori – AccringtonThe food is exquisite and delicious! it has a good family atmosphere. The garlic bread was the best i have had. I personally enjoy the pizzas especially the spicy ones! the desserts are also very good.
Nino’s Rawtenstall – RawtenstallI have now been eating at the casa tapas since it opened, the food is consistently good and the service excellent. My personal favorites include the stuffed pepper and gambas enteras. I visit Spain regularly and have not yet found a Spanish restaurant as good as casa tapas or staff as accommodating.
Casa Tapas – RawtenstallGood morning, we stayed at the Red Pump for three nights for our anniversary and found everything just spot-on. bedrooms were beautiful, food very good indeed, especially the steak. Visited because of recommendation from sugarvine and would be happy to follow recommendation from here again. We visited during Bowland Lamb week at the inn and the food was fantastic and we will definitely return. Thanks.
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeI had heard a lot about the place so it had a lot to live up to. The food was excellent The service was attentive but I felt a little rushed with a definite feeling we were expected to vacate the table sooner rather than later. Value for money wise for what I ordered I thought prices were a little on the expensive side. Having dined locally at other establishments and ordered similar dishes Agra was expensive.
Agra Indian Restaurant – BurnleyWhat a shame. It could have been such a good night out. The food when it arrived was above average. The service was almost laughable. No one on the front desk, only one girl serving drinks in the bar area, my wifes main course arrived 5 minutes before mine and we had to ask for the bottle of wine we ordered 15 minutes previously. This was a 7.30 on a Tuesday, not 8.30 on a Saturday. To add insult to injury, my wife asked the manager if we could go to our table and order drinks after 15 minutes waiting at the bar. The reply was straight from a Faulty Towers script. We wont be giving them a second chance Sorry!
The Halfway House – ChorleyHaving read many reviews on Mamma Mias I was expecting great things. Oh dear. Very disappointed. The starters were cold, the well done steak was rare, there was no atmosphere etc etc. We were not the only ones to complain that night - two others sent their meals back for being cold. Food was tasteless, decor was in serious need of an up date. Will not return.
Mamma Mia – BurnleyDon't be deceived by the outside, upstairs is a hidden gem. I wouldn't go for the meats, stick with the pizza/pasta, the starters are brilliant and the house wine VFM.
Antonello’s – LeylandAfter eating at the highly acclaimed Lancaster house hotel for lunch with friends, I stumbled across the greyhound hotel in Halton. The food was far superior and obviously more carefully prepared at the latter. If anyone lives anywhere near this treasure of a local pub,I strongly recommend that they sample the simple but perfectly executed menu. Home-made burgers are sheer perfection!
The Greyhound – LancasterThis little hideaway just gets better and better. We love it here! Would highly recommend
Seasons – ChorleyI went to the Restaurant in a party of nine on Sunday 28th October. We arrived late not our fault but never the less there was no problem with the booking. We had a lovely meal in very pleasant surroundings and nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Would recommend Fence Gate Inn to anybody Well Done.
The Fence Gate – BurnleyVisited this pub a few years ago and it was OK then but years on and a return to the pub and Wow, what a transformation. It now offers disabled access, it allows superb views, it has some fine beers and lagers and the food is very nice with some interesting specials on offer. I would have liked to score this pub bad and say stay away but that would be me trying to stop other folk going then I would be guaranteed a good seat every time I went.
Grey Mare Inn – BlackburnNice pub with disabled access, friendly service, good food and nice surroundings. We have been a few times to this pub and have not been let down.
The Willows – Blackburnafter hearing about the smiths we decided 2 give it a whirl,we were not disappointed at all everything was fantastic, n we will b going bk soon .
Smiths Arms – Prestonwent to truffles as guests from three bells brandy as competition winners and surprise on arrival canopes(fantastic)then a hot/cold buffet salmon & chicken in white wine sauce + rice also pasta salad new pots cream pots cold mixed with spring onion salad cream & onion(the best)wholemeal bread chunks etc what a feast. the sweet was apple pie & meringue with fruit & cream(like you've never tasted) we went as freebie guests but became lovers of the place & food what lovely people & fantastic food 9/10
