Went for Sunday lunch but picked the wrong day. There was a large party in another room which may have been the reason we had a long wait for our food. The meal was nice but not very hot but once we had been served the staff were very attentive

Best to book as they were busy when we went. The tacos are brilliant, and the Nacho's are home made and really great. Will be back next time we are in Ironbridge.

We ordered 2 starters and everything came at once so the square table got very cramped. Very quiet the Wednesday night we were there

The Smokey Cow – TelfordTook a while to get served, apparently was fully booked however in the area we were seated their was only another 2 couples who had already eaten. Rump steak was very fatty! Garlic bread came out as my husband had nearly finished his meal,we sent it back! Dirty plates left on the table for 25mins!! Fair to say we will not be returning!!
Water Rat – IronbridgeDined here on a Tuesday night and booked a table and on having a drink early and sitting near the bar we could see long queues forming at the bar to pay. The brand new till system installed that day by the management was malfunctioning and must have cost the restaurant a pretty penny. Service was slow but not the fault of the 2 ladies left to cover a full restaurant. The food was delicious and the meal although taking longer was good. Everyone seemed to be patient especially as everyone ordering ribs and desserts were not being charged for them. Morale of the tale: if you instal a new software system don’t go home at 5pm and expect your staff to somehow cope with gremlins.

The White Hart – Ironbridge4 of us came for a birthday meal and had the Mexican Sunday lunch. Food was amazing, pairing flavours I’d never think of putting together. Cocktails were lovely too. Highlight was our waitress who was really friendly and went out of her way to make the experience that little bit special. Building was really lovely too. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Shame it’s not busier!
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeWe visited on Sunday 17 September having also been a couple of weeks earlier. The food was excellent. We all had Sunday Roasts which were excellent. We had assorted starters which similarly were excellent. The service from all the staff was very friendly and professional. We all felt that the food was tasty, well presented and great value for money. We would definitely return again as we had an enjoyable and relaxed experience in a nice environment with excellent food.
