I visited the Bull last night and had a really lovely meal. I will definitely be back in the future

The Bull – ShrewsburyLovely staff and great venue for our family of 4. However, the best part was an extraordinary dessert designed for those who cannot decide - for £22.50 we shared a huge platter of all desserts on the menu; what a great idea! To cap it all, there was live music, which just added to our excellent evening.
The Last Inn – NewportStayed here last night for one night. Got to the room and thought it was "quirky" with uneven floor and squeaky floor boards, shower over the bath, no tea bags in room, noisy, so wasn't overly impressed. Then I had food in the restaurant...UNBELIEVABLE. I would of left a 3 star review, but food last night and then the breakfast this morning have pushed it up to a 5. Well worth the stay just for the incredible food, very happy. Bravo to the kitchen and front of house staff
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWhile the food was excellent and excellent value I would hesitate to go again due to the extremely poor service. My husband and I arrived, had our food and drink order taken promptly, however after waiting nearly an hour and seeing a table who ordered after us receive their food we asked what was happening . We were told there was a 'technical hitch' and food would arrive soon. Two plates of food arrived - the wrong food, it was for another table who had ordered after us. I asked again and was told it was coming. It arrived and my husband plate was wrong, we had asked for no cauliflower cheese so it was taken back to be rectified, however, when I looked at my own the cauliflower was not cauliflower cheese, the menu was wrong. We were then asked if we wanted to see dessert menus which we did, however, sat and waited and waited to have our order taken and couldn't get anyone's attention so finally we got someone and just asked for the bill. We explained how bad everything had been and the server just mumbled something about the internet was not working correctly!!! Everyone else seemed to be getting their orders okay. I thought we might have been offered a cup of coffee as an apology, but nothing, but really I would just have liked the excellent food served in an appropriate time and correctly.
The Last Inn – NewportAn enjoyable if not spectacular meal - the early dining offer is excellent value for money
The White Hart – Ironbridgeamazing roast dinner , amazing service 5/5, cant wait to come back.
The Bull – ShrewsburyEnjoyed a nice Sunday Lunch with friends at The White Hart. Food and drink were all fine. Relaxed atmosphere, pleasant staff and good value.
The White Hart – IronbridgeBeautiful setting, Gorgeous food, we had the Sunday Roast after rowing there from Cressage. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t ask for more from them.
Water Rat – IronbridgeHad an excellent Sunday lunch with the family for my uncles 90th birthday. Great quality food, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Highly recommend
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyLovely staff, service was a little slow but the food was most definitely worth waiting for. Would highly recommend!
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWe liked the decor and atmosphere of the pub which was welcoming. Front of house staff were friendly and attentive. The whole experience was unfortunately marred by the fact we had to wait 1.5 hrs for our food to be served. Due to the fact we had cycled we had to rush down the food and leave before it got dark.
The Bull – ShrewsburyBeautiful food, flavour was amazing. Not a huge menu but gorgeous. Only downside was not much without spice..... but if you don't mind a bit of a spice hit amazing!!!
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeDelicious food and came promptly (table booked at 16:30). Also dog friendly which is a bonus. Marked down slightly on service as took a while for them to collect dirty plates and no one asked if we would like to see the dessert menu.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordThe Elephant Crossing is a great addition to Ironbridge. Mexican tapas with friendly service and a superb view on the veranda. Each dish was fantastic. The cocktail menu has great selection and the wine is reasonably priced. We will definitely be back very soon.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeLovely lunch. Great vegan and gluten free options. Excellent meat and fish too. Enjoyed a cheeky lunchtime cocktail. Love the style and feel of the place as well. Would love to come back and sit out on the terrace sometime when the weather is better.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeMy partner and I had a delicious meal at the White Hart. Right from the start there was a very cheery welcome and we immediately felt at home. The menu was interesting and varied, the food was well-presented and delicious. The wines we chose complemented the dishes very well and were exceptionally smooth. Desserts were to die for! Superb friendly service in a convivial atmosphere, and didn't break the bank. Thoroughly recommend.
The White Hart – IronbridgeGreat food and really good service. Totally enjoyed it here and would come again
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe were pleasantly surprised when we turned up to find a tastefully modernised eating area at the back of a traditional pub way out in the countryside. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere pleasant & the food very good but reasonably priced. I’d recommend you try it.
