Me and my boyfriend came for the first time and loved it. The food was so tasty and the service was great especially from the waitress we had. We will definitely be coming back and trying the rest of the menu. Also the belly pork was the best we’ve ever had. Only thing that let it down was the car park as very tight and small but can’t be helped

I had high hopes for this restaurant but was severely let down! 1. I booked via the website on 20.08.22 and asked someone to call me as it was for my mothers birthday on the 21.08.22 and wanted to discuss how I could bring a cake and have them bring it out etc - no one called! 2. First ordered drinks at the bar - had no lemonade, not the end of the world but when you want shandy or lemonade in the wine is was! 3. Seated at table, after waiting over 10 mins we had to ask if it was table service or order at bar - finally someone came over and took the order 4. After 20 mins of waiting for food and watching other tables receive their food who ordered after us we asked the young gentleman where our food was - he came out but didn’t address us but another lady did and informed us that there was an issue with the ticketing machine - essentially the food order didn’t reach the kitchen! finally after another 5-10 mins the food came out …. OH BOY 5. The portions are shockingly poor / mash potato was so dry it looked days old! / 3 roasties per plate - quality was so poor none of us finished the meal 6. I asked for mint sauce and salt/ pepper - was given a jar of mint sauce as you would buy it from your shop and also the small packets of salt and pepper you see in fast food shops Overall I had high expectations for this meal and was severely let down by service and food quality - I paid the bill and not even reduction due to the long wait time, we didn’t stay for desert but rather went to another restaurant - poor service / poor quality food and given the occasion just felt very disappointed! Avoid at all costs

We had Sunday lunch there with my mum and two children. The venue is lovely, and very clean. The staff were friendly, and attentive. And the roast dinners were AMAZING! The portion size was perfect, and at a good price. My son had a burger from the usual menu, and he said it was the best he'd had in months.

Great food and service. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Plenty of vegetarian options and staff were extremely attentive and flexible in terms of allowing us to make changes to our order. The setting and outside seating area are lovely. We will definitely come back and have already recommended to some friends.

Visited the White hart on the 15th August. This place is well worth a visit. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. They also have a loyalty scheme too so we will definitely be back.

Arrived at The Water Rat yesterday for Sunday lunch with two other people! The table was ready and our order was taken promptly. The meal was delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were very pleasant and did not rush us with our desert! Excellent choice of venue as usual and we will return very soon!

I would 100% recommend the Tilley Raven. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. The place was very friendly and we felt very welcome. We will definitely be back again!

Staff were very friendly and the meals were good. The food came out on time . It was a bit hot though could have supplied fans as the heat was unbearable

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal here last night. Food was amazing (I loved the runny scotch egg) and service was friendly. 100% recommend to anyone.

Booked on line late afternoon, plenty of times available. Arrived & was sat by the door, ideal as so hot outside. Waitress attentive- menu as expected- pub grub, reasonable prices,limited fish choices. Beef bouginon & mash fine, Med veg & hallumi tasty but added chicken for £3 extra &got 4 thin bits of chicken- tasty but needed more really. Pudding - bread &butter & custard fine but my cheesecake came slightly warm( more like carrot cake in texture )& nota cold dessert. Did tell waitress on paying of bill & she offered a free drink or price reduction on pudding- went for latter as beer choice limited, Overall -satisfactory - pub grub.

Nice way to unwind in readiness for the week ahead. Good Sunday lunch, Made to feel extremely welcome by the attentive staff. My friend was extremely grateful when she realised she had left her new glasses on the table but they were handed in and kept safe by the team. Thank you

Been to the Swan several times, always enjoy the visit. A few items unavailable on the menu this time round but still plenty to choose from. Always tasty food. If i had one grip. Pint of lager over £ 5.50 . Got a cheaper pint week before in covent garden london £ 4.90. Something i feel needs addressing. Lower value for money because of drinks.

Really nice food, really friendly staff, Ryan a great host, waitress was a happy girl which was pleasant. Had a steak cooked perfectly with great taste. Used to visit alot before it got bad however if the food and service maintain this level will be back here alot!!

Had a lovely meal here on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next day wonderful service from the staff all really friendly, looking forward to our next stay at the swan taphouse
