The Queens Head – OswestryWe had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant last Sunday! We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent — we tried the lamb, beef, and pork, and every dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was great, attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which made the celebration even more special. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last. Highly recommended!
The Golden Ball Inn – TelfordWe visited the White Hart for lunch on mothers day. We received a warm welcome on arrival and had a nice table upstairs overlooking the river. The service was friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We were a little disappointed that they only had a rose processco, but we did enjoy a nice bottle of red. The only disappointment foodwise was the prawn cocktail starter. It looked a little lost in the white serving bowl and came without lemon, or any bread. However, the roast beef dinner and the roast chicken were spot on. The food was piping hot and was served with a good selection of veg and plenty of gravy. Overall we had a nice lunch and enjoyed our afternoon.
The White Hart – IronbridgeWent for Sunday lunch with my Mrs,Service was good had the 2 course lunch ,chose soup with warm bread for a starter and it was really nice . Had roast beef yorkshire pudding and veg for main ,also had an extra side of cauliflower cheese, and pigs in blankets So the beef was nice the parsnips were way to firm same with the cauliflower cheese ,roast potatoes didn't look like or taste like they'd been roasted same with the parsnips, also one sausage with bacon cut into 4 pieces was not good value for money, very average I'm afraid and will probably not eat there again.
The Malthouse – TelfordThe Smokey Cow – Telford
I had the pleasure of visiting for the first time on mothers day and it certainly won't be my last visit. Everything exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was sublime and the staff were very attentive, friendly and at times, downright funny! There was plenty of vegetarian options which was so good to see, instead of me being stuck with the usual mac and cheese or curry! Well done White Hart, see you again soon.
The White Hart – IronbridgeHad 2 tables booked for mothers day weekend. Had one booked for Saturday for bottomless brunch, angie the server was brilliant, her pornstar martinis were beautiful and the food was great. Also had another table on the Sunday for mothers day Sunday lunch, again service and food all spot on. Carry on what your doing guys, your doing amazing and I cant wait to come back for more food and drinks.

The Last Inn – NewportService here was lovely! We went for an afternoon tea for 4 and it did not disappoint, Definitely great value for money and the food was delicious. The lady with the glasses that served us was so nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordMy partner and I dined at the Water Rat and took advantage of their £15 menu. I ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala with half rice and chips and a naan. The chips were to die for - nice and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The chicken was tender and the sauce was delicious. The naan was a proper one, not like the sole of a shoe as in other eateries. The rice was fluffy and delicious. My wife had fish and chips. The chips were as delicious as my serving. The peas and tartar sauce were very tasty. The fish wasn't quite up to the standard of the rest of the meal, being somewhat overcooked, but still very tasty. We both had lemon merangue pie with cream. Not only was it a large portion, but was very tasty, with plenty of cream. To sum up, we both felt very full and wondered how they managed to do it for the price. We will be going again next week!
Water Rat – IronbridgeI went along with 4 friends to do a bottomless brunch on a Saturday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the service was. We had "spiked Pimms" on the table on arrival and our 1st drinks order was taken straight away. The menu was explained, and although there were a couple of items unavailable there was still a great selection of small places and tacos to choose from. For the whole 2 hours, we were not without a drink, and even when our allocated time was up we were not hurried out of there. One round took a little bit longer to arrive (due to freshly grinding coffee for espresso martinis) but as we still had drinks we hadn't noticed until we were kindly brought a tray of complimentary shots. Again, can't fault the service.... Definitely be returning again!
The Underground – ShrewsburyHad a lovely experience
