Fantastic cozy and quirky restaurant! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and fantastic food! Absolutely beautiful venison and black pudding scotch egg, and smoked mackerel starters. Then two beautiful steaks, a serlion and a ribeye. Both cooked to perfection and so soft and tender, really good quality meat. Accompanied by a gorgeous bottle of rose, recommended by them, and was just perfect. No room for desserts this time but we will definitely be back! Very much recommended, without any hesitation.

Sadly this was our first time here, we had heard amazing things about the food so was excited to book a table and come from Telford to visit. My friends coming from Shrewsbury. We ordered food which took 45 mins to come. The starter that was £9.50 was 4 small halloumi fries. Couldn’t believe the price. The main then came out again 40 mins after the starters were eventually collected, this was a 16oz rump steak. We had no cutlery from when we had the starters so had to ask for this. The waitress told us when they eventually delivered the food the chef had called in sick so they had to get someone in. On the plate was a tomato with no skin and half a pot of chips and the supposed 16oz steak. This was £33. Sadly we was not happy with the meal. My friends had the same as myself and her steak couldn’t even be cut. If this was the case and the chef wasn’t there a courtesy call to state this would have been better and we could have made other plans. This visit has been a huge let down and nothing like advertised.

We've been here multiple times and we keep coming back. The food is always outstanding. The staff are friendly and attentive. This is a little gem in Ironbridge that we came across by accident. The only thing that would make it better would be if they served burritos all day long and not just for brunch ;)

Atmosphere was relaxed, food was excellent, service was fantastic. Will definitely return, highly recommend.

We had the American smokehouse afternoon tea with Prosecco and Ale. Although there was a wait on the food it arrived hot and well presented. Everything was seasoned well and was delicious. Staff were easy to get hold of to ask for refills of our coffee/tea. We would definitely recommend and would go again.

Friday lunch for 4 people and very dog friendly. Sea bass was lovely and nicely presented. Lamb kebab was OK. Starters of Scotch egg and Fish cakes also very good. Excellent Service from the sole bar lady

Went for an afternoon tea here and was very impressed as it was lovely. It was well presented, the atmosphere was good and the lady serving us was friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. Would definately book again.

Excellent Sunday lunch yesterday at The Queen’s Head. We were a table of five and we all said it was the best Sunday Roast we have had in years! Thank you so much, we will definitely return when in the area again! Thoroughly recommend it!

First time visiting and we will certainly be back. Food and value for money outstanding. Slight concern over delays with food as has to wait some 30 mins between each course, however was very busy. Otherwise fantastic and thank you

Best sunday lunch , each time we dine at the Queens head it is always excellent , with good food , good service the beautiful atmosphere and surroundings It is a gem and is consistently perfect .

Great afternoon tea with a twist at the Swan Taphouse. The service was excellent and the food was really tasty, with their well-known smokehouse flavours shining through. And then came the desserts! We were all very full by the end. Great value for money — we’ll definitely be back again. Thank you!

From booking a table online to to the last bite was absolutely amazing . An undiscovered gem in North shropshire , if you want lovely food and friendly staff set in a beautiful location, this is the one . I had ribeye and it was cooked to perfection . My girlfriend had Paella which was fresh and was so tasty , it arrived like it was put together with care and passion for food . Seriously worth a visit . And set next to a canal with lovely walks . Well done to everyone that works there . Could not fault it . Will be back thank you for a lovely time guys !

Great place , warm and cosy inside , although my wife found it alittle cool , I work outside so I found it ok , steaks were great nicely cooked , onion rings were best I’ve had , so nice place to go for a steak , if you are abit on the cooler side of a person , take a jumper , overall great place
