Excellent roast dinner - thank you
The Queens Head – OswestryService was terrible, we weren't asked for a drink order had to go to the bar ourselves. Waitress and waiter weren't present, could see they were on their phones. Not friendly and welcoming. 2 of the meals were briskets when ordered rib of beef. Left with dirty dishes on the table for ages, I had to ask the waiter to come over, I could see I disturbed him from his phone.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe visited Wales to canoe across the Aqueduct and was looking for a Pub with good food for one of the nights of our stay. The food was absolutely delicious!!! We had the garlic bread ciabatta to start and the I had the spicy enchiladas and my husband had the gammon. We both thought the food was amazing and the service was great. Would recommend :)
The Queens Head – OswestryDisappointing It took two hours to get our food. The staff did not warn us about the delay for food. There was no apology or discount offered. Some of the food was cold, other bits were overcooked. We saw multiple people walk out and waiters being rude to customers.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordBottomless brunch was great value for money & the ladies serving were really attentive & very friendly. Would definitely return
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeVery nice food and friendly staff.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyReally good food, the only thing I would say is include that the steak comes with a side rocket, as I ordered a side of rocket and it was a waste but the best steak I’ve had in a while and I’ve recommended to everyone. Great portion sizes, lovely service
The Gate – ShrewsburySo came for a meal yesterday service was shocking had to remind the waitress about are drink still didn't receive till we got are meal not sure if it was because it was a complicated drink being a glass of coke or the fact she was just stood at the bar on her phone then the meal came out how loud the music is in the kitchen must have banged any sense of how to season food out the chefs head the most bland mix grill i have ever eaten way over priced for that a 5 year old could season better literally no seasoning he can not surly think his a chefs you pay to go out for food to either eat better standard than you can cook or at least on par I forced myself to finish it because of the price otherwise probably wouldn't give it to a dog get your kitchen and staff in order or you will lose a lot more customers at this rate no wonder it was empty very disappointed waist of travel if that's all you can offer
The Malthouse – TelfordGreat place - tasty food, friendly team and good location. Will be returning

The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordFood was poor, there was no mashed potato and I had to ask for it. When it came it was ordinary mash and it should have been mustard mash. The portions were very poor. Anyway, just to sum up….there are far better eateries than the White Hart within the locality. Sorry, just saying it as it is.
