The Queens Head – OswestryAfter being in far too much sunshine and being extremely hangry, my daughter calmed me down and we had a really very lovey meal. Staff were lovely at the end of what must have been a long and punishingly hot day, and the food was great. Thank you.
The White Hart – IronbridgeLovely food smoked to perfection. Friendly staff and beautiful decor. I look forward to coming again!
The Smokey Cow – TelfordEverything about our visit was first-class. The server was very helpful and friendly, the food was excellent. We will certainly be visiting again.
The Last Inn – NewportThis is a gem for people visiting the Ironbridge area who want to be able to choose from a lighter lunch menu. Many of the central ones seem to offer large items, which is not always what is wanted. Sensible prices, a good range and tasty home made dishes. Service was friendly but we weren’t overwhelmed by staff enquiries, which we appreciated. Good car parking are helpful and the view down on to the River Severn from the restaurant is great! Had we wanted to, we could have sat at the extensive outdoor area to enjoy the surroundings further. An excellent visit, will be back!
Water Rat – IronbridgeI have been asked by email to write a review of my meal at The Bull. Having booked a table for 5, including 2 visitors from Australia, I was contacted about half an hour by the Bull cancelling the booking. The chef had apparently been taken unwell. I then had to put up with an hour's diatribe by the Australians about how this would never happen in Australia. What is more disconcerting, though, is being asked to write a review about the dining experience, as I didn't have one. I had no food, no atmosphere, no service and no value for money hence cannot give positive marks for any of these.

The Bull – ShrewsburyHad a lovely meal with friends, staff were lovely and everything was lovely, they even cleaned up around us as we were the last to go and didn’t rush us to leave! look forward to returning.
The White Hart – IronbridgePerfect place for our group to enjoy some informal smokehouse fare. Lovely atmosphere and the food hit the spot, was a pleasant surprise to find something so close to our remote accomodation!
The Smokey Cow – TelfordWe came a couple years back for my birthday and had food off the main menu which was superb and we have been wanting to come back. We finally got round to visiting on a Sunday and I had the smoked brisket roast dinner. Can honestly say it was the best roast I have ever had from a pub/restaurant. Generous portions, tasted fantastic and good value for money. The waitress was lovely and the atmosphere was really calm and enjoyable. The music being played was just an added bonus as it was a Luke Combes playlist who is my fave singer. 10/10 if I could score higher I would. Thank you very much
The Smokey Cow – TelfordLovely evening meal, friendly staff food was delicious and well prepared didn’t have to wait long either. Good value for money. Would recommend to family and friends
The Queens Head – OswestryThis is our 5th Visit to the Queens Head. Every visit the food is a high quality, fresh and cooked to perfection. I've had different dishes off the menu the Belly Pork, The poached Hake and the creamy crab risotto. Every one is a delight and they were faultless. Now I have a sweet tooth, so the desserts get a lot of attention. Ive sampled the Belgian Waffle with honeycomb ice cream which was a delight but the new edition I had this time round was the bakewell tart Cheese cake....a triumph! The bub itself is smart and homely you feel completely ease there and the staff compliment this with their friendly service making you feel a valued customer. I did think of giving 4 stars for the value for money however with the consistency of quality in the execution and presentation of the food dropping a star didn't feel right. It's the right amount of money for the right quantity and the level of quality. We'll be coming here for years to come. Thank you Queens Head.
The Queens Head – OswestryThird visit to this pub Booked for lunch and took advantage of the two course lunch offer . We both had fish n chips which were okay but the fish needed to be cooked longer as the batter was very pale . Good choice of puddings , I opted for the raspberry cheesecake and ice cream, couldn’t finish it as it wasn’t a cheesecake , more of a mouse/ custard filling . However couldn’t fault the friendliness and hospitality of the staff who genuinely was very welcoming . Was surprised at the service charge ? Wasn’t expecting that
Water Rat – IronbridgeWe were a party of 12 , food was superb and we could not fault the whole experience . Brilliant
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWe had a Groupon for an American style afternoon tea for 2 and really enjoyed both the savory and sweet choices. Paid £5 extra for a portion of hand cut chips and would recommend. Food was enjoyable and good to have hot food as part of the menu. Well presented and very tasty. Free parking in the centre of Ironbridge overlooking the River a big bonus. Attentive staff and overall an excellent enjoyable experience under the fairy lights
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe arrived early and was greeted by the Manager. He was helpful! Nothing was too much trouble for him and what a great sense of humour he had. The Afternoon Tea (Savoury) and desserts were delicious and fresh. We could not eat anymore! Thankyou to the Chef and Manager who made our visit a memorable one! We will be back!,
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordVisited on Father’s Day and booked in at last minute. Food was great, pub was comfortable and service was good. If we are in the area again would definitely come back. Dog also enjoyed his special dinner as well.
The Golden Ball Inn – TelfordHad a lovely Sunday lunch here, service was great, friendly and professional staff. Food was top notch and good value for money. Look forward to returning in the future.
