The Queens Head – OswestryWe booked under their midweek winter meal offer of £25pp and it was great value for money. Obviously this came with a limited choice of drinks and meal choices but plenty enough to choose from and the food was delicious. Lovely friendly staff too. We’ll be back when we’re in the area again at some point.
The White Hart – IronbridgeAlways an excellent meal. Great menu and quality food.
The Queens Head – OswestryWe ate for the first time at the water rat and loved it. My husband had sirloin steak and chips. I had fish and chips. For afters we had lemon cheesecake. The meal was excellent , we were so full. Will definitely be going back. The staff went out of their way for you. The atmosphere was so relaxing.
Water Rat – IronbridgeVery nice pub / restaurant. We both had main meals & desserts which again we both enjoyed. The service was good & all the staff were very pleasant. All in all it's a place I would recommend.

Water Rat – IronbridgeBooked for a family meal following a recommendation and were not disappointed! Lovely pub, quiet and unassuming….staff were welcoming and food was great. There was no rush (only one chef on apparently) which created a relaxing no pressure experience. Our meals were delicious and faultless, we would highly recommend!!
The Smokey Cow – TelfordVery nice! Nice staff... excellent waitress who busied herself all night with a smile. Lovely food although cheese cake was liquid?

The White Hart – IronbridgeComfortable environment Friendly welcoming staff and great food. Would definitely recommendation as have been back several times.
Water Rat – IronbridgeHaving just moved to the area, we took a neighbour's recommendation and ventured into The Smokey Cow – a decision we wholeheartedly applaud. While there was a wait for our food, the anticipation proved well-founded, culminating in a truly exceptional dining experience. Everything we ordered showcased a mastery of flavour, with perfectly seasoned components, from the remarkable seasoned fries to the succulent, tender burgers. The chef's expertise shone through, rendering salt and pepper unnecessary. The restaurant boasts an impressive beer selection, catering to a range of beer tatstes. For us, a particular highlight was the massive and utterly delicious Mother Clucker Burger, a true testament to the kitchen's culinary prowess. The smoked chicken also deserves special mention, its smoky depth and perfectly cooked texture making it a standout dish. Portion sizes were more than generous, each plate a visually stunning creation worthy of Instagram. The Smokey Cow has clearly earned a place on our regular dining list, and we eagerly anticipate our return to explore more of their delectable offerings.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordSunday roast is always amazing. Can't recommend it enough
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyExcellent service and warm welcome. We always dine here when visiting Ironbridge. I do wish they would offer breakfast to non-residents! We enjoyed our Sunday lunch on a cold day, and would have had pudding too if there had been hot options!
