The food was lovely and service was good but did feel dark and dull where we were sat.

My second visit and amazed once again with the lovely food, great service and fantastic staff. Brought three of my friends this time round all first timers and all loved it. Will definitely be back

Was great good and service highly recommend well worth a visit

The food was great, the staff were attentive and friendly and the pricing was as reasonable and on par with similar places in the area. The only downside for us was that it was cold in the restaurant; some of us kept our coats on for much of the evening.

Midweek and again great for a work/corporate meal with a few colleagues, great food and service and certainty

Dined on Saturday with a table of 9 which when we got there was not ready even though I booked 5 days previously It seemed reasonably busy but after we ordered we were told there was a 30 mins wait for food In fact this was more like 40 mins, and bearing in mind our table was booked for 6.30 we didn’t eat our mains until after 8.30 pm Then to cap it all which was not their fault the power went off, and so we had no dessert and we couldn’t pay the bill This was done next day . You just couldn’t write it!!! Nick Prince

4 of us (adults) ate Sunday lunch at the White Hart - roast pork, pan-fried chicken plus roast trimmings and a beetroot Wellington. All the food was very, very tasty and there was plenty of it. The atmosphere felt a little stark and the service was only ok (waiting staff leaning across people, that sort of thing). I would go back and hope that the staff were having a better day.

Had Sunday lunch on 25th February, was our first visit. It was very nice, will be visiting again soon

Excellent food which was fresh and had thought applied to it when it was made. Ingredients were quality and it was very satisfying. Staff are friendly and the pub has a nice atmosphere and decor.

Lovely steak! Couldn’t fault the food , the young girls on service though could do with more training. That’s all I’d say :) overall lovely experience

The surroundings, the food, the welcome, the decor and the pricing are all fantastic. We have been before and both times were amazing. The food is great, piping hot and they certainly don't give small plates here. Both times we had the same waitress and both times she was brilliant. We'll be back.

Really enjoyable food and friendly staff.

We arrived on time for our reservation. We were seated right next to another couple, literally an inch gap between us, so that wasn't great. After 25 minutes, we still wasn't asked if we wanted to order a drink, so we decided to get up and leave because no one had even bothered to attend to us. Really disappointed, as we were really looking forward to eating here, but service was very poor.

Booked for saturday evening table not ready on arrival. Advised some starters not availabe when ordered what was available the waitress returned to say we needed to reorder as not enough of one starter available. Four of the main courses arrived and the side order for our 5th guest who then had to wait serveral minutes for there mains we also had to ask several times for drinks only to be forgotten about and having to keep asking .We gave up on desserts as the rest of the service had been poor
