Fantastic atmosphere, great friendly service and good food. Love the new menu and had a really enjoyable night.
Telfords Bistro – ConwyThe staff were friendly and helpful. My curry was totally disappointing it had no flavour at all, it was bland ,dry, and did not taste like a curry at all. It lacked spice and the appearance was just chicken and tomatoes. The rice was like boil in the bag rice and the naan looked as though it had been bought in a supermarket. I ate it as I was starving as I'd just finished work. The onion rings were delicious and homemade and the burger and chips were nicely presented. But the curry let it down badly and I know a good curry. I've eaten better ones from a supermarket
Royal Oak – WrexhamHad a meal at the Victoria on Friday evening, food really good, fast service & reasonable price, will definitely go again if in the area
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthBeautifully presented, unusual but perfectly combined dishes. Very friendly and relaxed - we had a lovely evening.
Foxglove – BarmouthWe loved visiting pub, the food was excellent and the staff always helpful and friendly. We wished we lived closer so we could come more. Will be recommending to anyone visiting the area.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthAmazing food, great atmosphere, booked again. highly recommend.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogThe food was excellent, and the atmosphere was delightful. The staff provided outstanding service, making the experience truly enjoyable. We really liked the place and will definitely be returning.
Telfords Bistro – ConwyLovely good, friendly service. The setting was gorgeous
The Old Courthouse – CaernarfonIt was our first visit to this restaurant as we were staying in the village and were celebrating my husband's birthday. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. There was a warm welcome when we arrived, the service throughout was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, we all ordered different dishes and our group included vegetarians, vegans and gluten free and all were catered for beautifully. The final very pleasant surprise was the cost which was extremely reasonable. All in all, a great evening
Y Sgwar – Porthmadog5 star
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWas hoping for local produce cooked well and a bistro environment, got mid range chain quality. Menu looked great, but chowder had grit in the mussels and both mains came with the same overcooked potatoes and peas probably from the same hot server made hours before. For that price I was expecting better than pub quality.
Telfords Bistro – ConwyCouldn’t fault a thing!!! Had a lovely night for our anniversary and can’t wait to visit again. Food and service 10/10
Telfords Bistro – ConwyBeen going to hold lodge since last year , every couple of weeks for Sunday carvery. Food is great , staff go over and beyond with service , worth every penny , they also have a carvery mid week , will be going there again very soon
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamWe holiday in North Wales every May and since finding the Victoria Inn in 2021 we have been back every year. Fantastic food and a reasonable price. And lots of it. Good choice of food as well. Easy to book online (recommended). Excellent service as well. Look forward to going back next year
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthAbsolutely fantastic meals with brilliant portion sizes. Perfect for after hiking up Snowdon. Only downside is being seated in the dining room with loud group of guys and the waitresses being preoccupied with them for a large amount of time, meaning we had to keep going to the bar to ask questions etc because we couldn’t get their attention. Also meant our puddings took about 20 mins to arrive because they didn’t notice the order had been out in.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe had dinner here on 16th May. It was my husband’s birthday and I wanted somewhere special to celebrate. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service impeccable and the meal was good value for money. We were only visiting for a couple of days but, if we came back to the area, we would love to eat here again. A real gem of a restaurant.
