Had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Cock. We received a very warm welcome, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and great value for money. We will be definitely be back!

Panama Hatties is a wonderful dining experience. The food is fabulous with a good choice. The decor and ambiance is tasteful and yet, for the size of the restaurant , keeps an intimate feel Try it you must. You will not be disappointed

A warm welcome, as always, to this hidden gem of a restaurant. Delicious food with plenty of choice and all at a reasonable price. For a regular evening out or a special occasion, Pacinos never fails to please.

Amazing, best starters and mains we have had in a long time, only let down was the cheesecake which was rubbery and not good at all.

Been many times and as always the food was delicious and you can never fault the friendly, quick service.

Ive always enjoyed Panama Hatties but was very disappointed on Saturday. It wasn’t even particularly busy, so that wasn’t an excuse. My partners side of vegetables were forgotten and I mentioned this at the beginning of the meal. We received an apology and reassurance some fresh vegetables would be with us shortly. My partner had finished his sirloin steak meal by the time the vegetables arrived. I had the chicken burrito which was very tasteless and the only taste came from the salsa which wasn’t even home made. When the bill came it still included the charge for the vegetables - clearly no attention to detail. We won’t be back!

Lovely place to eat and visit I took my elderly aunt for lunch it was delicious. The staff were so friendly and attentive we will certainly go again when I next visit.

A fantastic meal. We enjoyed the French onion soup offer, we’d not had French onion soup before but loved it and the cakes were amazing. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and the service was brilliant.

Met up with a friend for lunch and the service was excellent. Greeted with a polite young lady and shown to the table and then brought our drinks. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. Beautiful setting and an old worldly charm inside. Highly recommended and will certainly go again.

We all enjoyed our meals . The only complaint we wee stuck in a very dark corner with big plants surrounding us! It was a bit dismal and there were brighter rooms available.

Came here for a meal and did not leave disappointed, the food was lovely! Reasonably priced for the quality you recieve. The service was also very very good, nice, friendly, pleasant staff that made you feel like a valued customer, we will definitely be returning!

Food was good. Service but the young staff was good. Wine was dreadful. No wine list. I won’t be back until there’s decent wine to drink. Beer was good apparently. Atmosphere was busy and friendly but the impression was of an anxious management. Decor and surroundings were in much need of renovation. It looked as if some attempt was being made to revamp the place but it looked fairly unpromising sadly. If it’s worth doing- it’s worth doing well. We wish the pub well as it seems it’s had a rocky start from reading other reviews. People can be very reluctant to change. It’s in a beautiful spot and should be the heart of the village.
