I am never normally one to complain and we normally love Panama Hatties but I’m afraid it fell short of its usual high standards on this occasion. My husband is gluten free and picked one of the items marked *gfo* on the menu to then be told it was no good because of the bbq sauce. He picked again and was told he couldn’t have that either, again despite the menu denoting it suitable. He was only given a choice of about 4 items from the manager in the end. We ordered desserts, which after 45mins had still not come so at this point we left and just paid for what he had eaten. Such a shame and a disappointing way to end Father’s Day.

We visited for Father’s Day and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and accommodating, even managing to fit in an extra person at short notice. The food was delicious and great value for money. The outdoor area was a real highlight, with beautiful views and plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. Highly recommended!

The food was ok but lots of things not on the menu, not great for a booking on Father’s Day. Service was poor and slow. Waited 30 mins for drinks then a further 50 mins for our meal, not ideal with 3 young children.

Dined here on Father's Day.Food was delicious, especially the thick roast beef dinner.Service was efficient and friendly.Views from the back of the pub were amazing.Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and Father’s Day, and had the best Sunday lunch - ever! The service, food, drinks and atmosphere were all excellent, and we will be back very soon.

We were using an afternoon tea gift voucher. We had excellent and helpful service. Drinks were served promptly. A very tasty selection of sandwiches and cakes in a relaxed and peaceful environment. A very enjoyable experience all round. Well done.

Food & service is always good - this was our fifth visit. However, the table has been moved to a room similar to a works restaurant - a shame as the old seating provided a lovely atmosphere

We came for a lovely meal on a Friday, easy to book and great service. Menu is great, lots of choice - we eat there every so often so we did the steak pie and the fish and chips. Good portions and really tasty but the clincher was the apple and raspberry crumble to share, which was really gorgeous and a great idea! It was also really big but we still managed to finish it (bit ashamed to say really!) For £9 it was fantastic value as a dessert!

Booked afternoon tea for two, consisting of finger sandwiches, warm scones with jam and cream and a selection of cakes. I had a pot of coffee and my other half a pot of tea. On arrival we were seated in a bright room overlooking the garden by a lovely young girl who made us feel welcome and provided excellent service throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. Drinks arrived promptly and tea and coffee was replenished regularly. The cakes were lovely, especially the lemon drizzle. Would recommend.

We had a lovely meal that couldn’t be faulted. Excellent food with good sized portions. Good choices so we all found our favourites. The Croque Monsieur was the best I’ve ever tasted. The carrot cake was a firm favourite too. A gem of a place in a pretty little courtyard that we’d not spotted before. We will most definitely be back

Lovely venue. Staff are welcoming and friendly , yet efficient. Food was very good and in my humble opinion value for money. Cocktails are amazing too. Won't leave it as long before we go back this time.

Over from Ireland visiting friends, they brought me here for lunch. Highly recommended everything was top class. Can’t wait to visit again.
