We had Sunday lunch at the Hope and Anchor it was delicious. There is an excellent choice on the menu and the staff there are always friendly and the service is amazing . We will be back soon

Went to Sage & Vine, with my husband, following a recommendation from a friend - I'm glad we went. The food was really tasty, the staff were lovely - welcoming & friendly - & the service was spot on. We both had 3 of the small plates & a pudding, all of which were delicious. We'll definitely be returning.

They were happy to answer questions and ensured everything was running smoothly. In terms of value for money, Hope & Anchor offers a great balance of quality and price. The food, service, and overall atmosphere make it well worth the cost. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience and would happily visit again. You need to book in advance.

We came for a family meal with 4 adults and 4 kids. The pub is lovely, the staff and friendly and helpful and food was great. Will definitely be returning.

Another great visit to Sage and Vine. Delicious food and drinks. Always well looked after by the friendly staff. Can’t recommend it enough.

We always eat at the Pheasent Inn ,when we are on our holidaying the lakes. You can expect a warm welcome, friendly staff,good food . Un fortunately the last night something went wrong,our food was unfortunately not upto their usual standard.Never the less we will dine there again and hope that this was a one of. We would always recommend the Pheasent Inn.

We booked on line for the 30th May, and as always had a lovely 3 course meal, Service was good too. This is our favourite Italian restaurant in the area, and we travel feom Penrith
