Sage and Vine – CarlisleExcellent food, beautiful setting and great staff. Always a great meal here
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleNice pub feel with good bar service. The food was average at best. The burger was ok but the pie meals were poor. A slice of cold beef pie with an instant gravy poured over it. The chicken and leek pies weren’t much better, other than the gravy came in a separate gravy boat. The burger was probably the best meal of the five we ordered., so if we were in the area again that’s what I’d have.
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsDelicious food and a nice bottle of red. What's not to like ? And reasonably priced. I'll be back.
