Very welcoming, and a great value pre-theatre menu (though we only had room for half a pud each after the first two courses). Friendly and efficient service, and plenty of time for coffee before the show. Will return!

Pheasant Inn – KeswickWhat a find. An absolutely beautiful setting the atmosphere, food and service lived up to expectations. We enjoyed the Chicken Supreme and Roasted Cod and we just had to try the deserts. The sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake didn’t disappoint
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereAfter a recommendation we booked a table for Sunday lunch. Was seated straight away. Waited 30 minutes for our meal and had to remind a staff member that we were waiting. Food was pipping hot and tasty. Would have preferred more vegetables but that’s just a personal opinion.

A return visit for us as we also visited on a previous visit to Grasmere - that was equally as good. We’ll definitely book again on our next planned visit.
