A wonderful, authentic pub atmosphere. Beautiful food of the highest quality! Faultless, friendly service. Shared a table for 2 with my Son last night, honestly wouldn’t change a thing and can’t wait to return.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickLovely family meal, great menu with lots of choice. Service was excellent - thank you Chris and rest of the staff. Pheasant Ale was lovely too.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickHad a wonderful Sunday lunch. We all said we hadn't had a better one anywhere. The team at the H&F give an excellent service all round. I am also impressed with the establishments ethos, of supporting the local Cumbrian economy.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithTen of us went for an early Christmas meal last week at H&F. Everything was excellent, the service, the food, the drink selection. I had a Christmas Dinner as I always do when I go out at Christmas and this was the best I've had. We had a veggie in the group and she reported that her suet pudding was the best vegetarian Christmas dinner she has had too! We even got a warm home made mince pie at the end which was delicious. Would highly recommend. 10/10
Horse and Farrier – PenrithA wonderful dining experience with flavours that will leave you wanting more
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereThe Horse and Farrier was recommended to us by the receptionist at The Quiet Site, when asked for the best place locally to get Sunday roast. It did not disappoint, the food was delicious, and excellent value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fabulous meal.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithI've been visiting the Pheasant for years, but this is the first time I've eaten here. The beef Sunday roast was the best I've ever had. From ordering, to being on my table was a short wait too which is always good. The service from the staff was just great.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWarm welcome staff nice and attentive Traditional pub decor plenty of space around tables
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAbsolutely delicious roast beef Sunday lunch. Very good vegetables Great atmosphere (by the fire) and good service as always
Horse and Farrier – PenrithFantastic atmosphere, georgeous food, the best carbonara in Carlisle 10/10 and as the only place serves pistachio ice cream
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleThis is just one of the best places you could ever wish to dine at. Simple enjoyable food, perfectly presented. The owners are ever present, welcoming us as part of the "family". Our 10 year old, who is incredibly fussy, stuffed himself so full that he was uncomfortable on the journey home. A 65 mile round trip just for the meal was well worth it and we'll be back next week before a concert.
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleThree of us had a meal on Friday night, we all had different main meals and they we all enjoyed the food very much, lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and polite. I would definitely go back.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleVisited here on Saturday with a party of ten ladies food was lovely staff were fabulous and very helpful looking forward to visiting again
Sage and Vine – CarlisleAbsolutely spot on. Would recommend and will visit again
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleThis was our first visit and unfortunately will not return. The young lady was run off her feet, trying to do 10 jobs at once but was very helpful and really tried her best to accommodate l. The chef that brought out the food was obnoxious and off hand. Food was very poor, cold and expensive for what we got. Will definitely not retum or recommend
