First time at the Horse and Farrier Dacre and certainly won’t be the last . Lovley setting and well worth the visit . The food on offer was excellent and the gluten free options for my wife were very good. There was also a good choice on the specials board. Everything coming out the kitchen looked good so I knew we were in for a treat and we were not disappointed. From the starter to the desserts everything was well cooked tasted great good portion sizes so you were definitely not leaving hungry . The service was also excellent. If you are ever in the Lake District do not hesitate to make this a destination for great food.

Such a lovely evening. Well looked after as always. Friendly staff and very efficient. The food is excellent with a menu that catered well for all of us . Good veggie options. This restaurant has always been our favourite in Carlisle. If you haven't been do go and give it a try!

Fantastic meal with friends. Warm friendly welcome, great friendly, quick service. Food was amazing as always. There were 6 of us eating and all of us enjoyed out food very much. Reasonably priced too as we were there during happy hour. Great size portions for the price. Will be returning and would recommend.

Service was good & very prompt. Very enjoyable meal. Lamb Henry cooked to perfection, very tender but still a little pink (just as lamb should be). Only niggle was whilst sitting in the side dinning room it could have been a little warmer. Thanks for a great evening.

Great traditional Pub. Food was excellent as always and the staff really attentive and helpful. Recommend it highly for anyone visiting Keswick.

Visited recently the food was excellent my only criticism is that lighting is to bright loose half the light bulbs and the atmosphere would be alot better

Delicious food, 3 of us had the lamb shoulder special & one had the herb crusted cod, which were all very tasty. The staff were very pleasant & efficient. Enjoyed everything as always.

Cosmina and the rest of the Sage & Vine team hosted me and 3 friends for dinner on Saturday evening. The new small plate dishes were delicious as was the wine and desserts (especially the pistachio ice cream). The food and drink is complemented incredibly well by the relaxed dining setup and extremely attentive hosting.

Excellent Sunday lunch - roast beef was extremely tender and cooked just right. Staff welcoming and lovely atmosphere.
