Our 2nd visit was as good as the first. Full of character the pub was inviting and staff couldn't be more helpful. Took our dog with us and we enjoyed the local walks

My go to restaurant every year for the night before Carlisle Half Marathon. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The food is delicious and excellent value for money. Thanks again for accommodating us all! I reckon so many of us got personal bests at the race purely because of the this place :) Thank you and see you again next year!

What perfectly located beautiful little restaurant in the heart of Grasmere village. The staff and most importantly the food was first class, an absolute must if you are visiting the area.

Would highly recommend having meal here. Food was excellent, great for money and fantastic portion size. Service was excellent.

Amazing food and beer selection as always. Black pudding bon bons are a staple favourite for us. The venison bourguignon was absolutely unreal. The barber duck was perfectly cooked also. The apple, gooseberry and treacle crumble was so good, as was the lemon posset. We will return like we always do every time we come to Keswick. Thank you for having us!
