The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeWhat a delightful place to enjoy good, healthy food and a friendly atmosphere. Very unstuffy and realistically priced but with the feel that this is a good place for a special occasion. The seabass was astounding and yes I really enjoyed the pork belly too. Also plenty of veg which makes a change after a week of pub meals.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereSimple reduced menu well cooked. Good service. Friendly enough. Fabulous little hamlet . Dog friendly. Would book again foe Sunday.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeGreat food. One of the best Sunday lunches around that area. Great service Good drinks. Support your local establishment.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeLovely pub, smashing range of beers and very friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent, freshly made, tasty and good helpings. Everyone in our party cleaned their plates.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithLovely cosy pub. Staff friendly. Food very good. No complaints.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickHad Sunsay lunch at the Pheasant. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly, although service was a little slow. Only negative was they got our original drinks order wrong and only after I'd paid and left I noticed they had charged me for a beer brand I'd not had, which was more expensive than the beer I had actually drank. Check your bill before paying would be my advice
Pheasant Inn – KeswickLovely pub and restaurant, food and service was excellent Lovely pint of Cocker Hoop Staff were friendly helpful and courteous. Recommend

Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithAn excellent Sunday lunch, couldn't fault it. Good friendly service as well. Will definitely go back next time we're in the area.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithBest pub for food in Keswick. The staff are friendly, the service is great and the food choice & quality is excellent. We have been eating here for many years when we visit Keswick and always recommend to others. Dog friendly. A good idea to book!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickExcellent meal and very friendly staff, had the tempura vegetables and the prawns for starters and the confit pork and the herb crusted cod for mains and they were all delicious, best pork belly I have had in years.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe had a fantastic meal and can't recommend Lewis's highly enough for top quality dining in Grasmere. We shared a generous portion of bread, oil, balsamic and olives to start, then both had seabass which was a very well presented and fantastic tasting dish, a good portion size too. I only just had room to squeeze in the essential sticky toffee pudding! We rolled out very satisfied. Another customer nearby was not happy that the cheeseboard was unavailable, but they can't really help it if their delivery didn't arrive. We thought the service was great from the gent serving us and it was a really delicious meal, also lovely wine, where we were not rushed. Would definitely return (again) when next in the area.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereGood food as always. We always book The Pheasant when we come to Keswick
