Sage and Vine – CarlisleHaving visited this pub a number of times this year we continue to be very impressed with the efficiency of the staff and the standard of the food. It really is a gem and whoever recruits and trains the staff deserves a medal. Very highly recommended.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithHad an absolutely delicious evening meal. Lovely atmosphere and friendly but never intrusive service. The dishes were expertly crafted and beautifully presented. My husband had the steak whilst I had a vegetarian pasta dish which was fantastically tasty. I really appreciated the option to have a smaller portion as it left room for the dessert! We loved it and felt it was well priced and justly highly regarded.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickI had the best chilli nachos I've ever tasted so I returned again two days later for a repeat performance. They did not disappoint.
The Manor Inn – St BeesThree of us called in for dinner before going to the theatre. Service was prompt and very friendly. We all enjoyed our food. Nice vegetables with the mains and the crumble was lovely. Was very busy but a nice atmosphere.
Pheasant Inn – Keswickbooked for Sunday lunch during a week away. Staff fantastic, very welcoming and professional . The meal was great every thing well seasoned the beef was the best I’ve tasted in a long time, slight down side the roast potatoes could of been better, but we did book for 4 pm so lucky to get roast beef.
