We came for a family meal with 4 adults and 4 kids. The pub is lovely, the staff and friendly and helpful and food was great. Will definitely be returning.

Another great visit to Sage and Vine. Delicious food and drinks. Always well looked after by the friendly staff. Can’t recommend it enough.

We always eat at the Pheasent Inn ,when we are on our holidaying the lakes. You can expect a warm welcome, friendly staff,good food . Un fortunately the last night something went wrong,our food was unfortunately not upto their usual standard.Never the less we will dine there again and hope that this was a one of. We would always recommend the Pheasent Inn.

We booked on line for the 30th May, and as always had a lovely 3 course meal, Service was good too. This is our favourite Italian restaurant in the area, and we travel feom Penrith

We visited yesterday after doing the fairy steps walk. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Loved the dog menu and staff were friendly towards our two dogs too. Food was delicious and we will definitely return when in the area again. Thanks.

We ate here on one night but had a fussy newborn baby. The staff went out of their way to take baby on a short walk so we could enjoy our dinner for a few minutes. Food, presentation and service were also exceptional. Could not recommend this place enough!

Been here a couple of times before,food quality nowhere as good as in previous visits.Service OK,again not as good as previous visits,slow to take orders,but quick to ask if anymore drinks required.Was our go to italien when in Carlisle,but probs won't be back.

This has become a regular place for us to eat when we visit the Lake District. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the staff are always welcoming and helpful and the food is always delicious. No doubt we’ll be back soon!

Its been a while since we visited The Queens Head Inn at Tirril, as we stay locally during holiday park season. We knew this had been taken over recently, so we tried it again. The food was really good, fresh, and nice and hot ! Service, dare I say, not so good, Im sorry.

We had a wonderful meal very tasty and hot.
