Came by train from Leeds to Carlisle on Wednesday 3rd June, and made booking for lunch with it being near the station and with only a couple of hours available before return trip. All 4 of us were very well looked after and our food was absolutely delicious and whilst it is very unlikely we would be returning due to distance away, I would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant to anyone

The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were happy to answer questions and ensured everything was running smoothly. In terms of value for money, Hope & Anchor offers a great balance of quality and price. The food, service, and overall atmosphere make it well worth the cost. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience and would happily visit again. You need to book in advance.
