After a couple of hours roaming the hils and the "beach" The Shepards Rest Inn was a welcome stop. We booked ahead ( highly recommended) and were greated by friendly, welcoming staff at the bar and in the restuarant. The daily roast lunch was perfect with a big fluffy yourkshire pudding, so too was the fish and chips my parther had. The meals were generous and great value for money great food , welcoming staff and a cosy place for a couple of pints, we'll be back!

We eat here regularly. The food is lovely - fresh, tasty, and served quickly, with a smile! Michael, Jules and the team make you feel welcome and always have time for a chat. A calm, relaxing atmosphere with great (not intrusive) background music completes the picture.

Excellent food, good service, will be back soon

Booked a meal here before a concert in Liverpool. Good job I had booked as the place was extremely busy. Only managed the main course each and a side order, but the food was spot on. Delivered absolutely hot (how I like my food, not lukewarm). Staff were friendly although they were busy. Risotto was absolutely lovely along hubby's pasta dish. Will be back to enjoy in a more leisurely pace. Thank you.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. The food was exceptional—each dish was thoughtfully crafted and presented in a tapas-style format, allowing us to truly savor and appreciate the chef’s vision. Every bite delivered bold, memorable flavors that left us genuinely impressed. The wine and cocktail list was also extensive and well-curated. A truly unforgettable dining experience from start to finish.
