Delicious food which was well presented by efficient staff. Good value for money. After having a starter and main course no one had room for a dessert.

1st time visiting, lovely friendly welcome from the staff, 3 off us all ordered the same , soup starter which was a meal in it self being minestrone served with a scone, tasty & delicious, then roast beef diner the beef was to die for melted in your mouth , the cauliflower cheese was amazing very cheesy, just every was hot & tasty , wish I could have fit a pudding in but no room , the drinks were a good price , the atmosphere in the pub & the new decor was welcoming, it’s a credit to Lee & his family , will defo be back

Food was nice a 4 out 5. Staff were pleasant enough nothing special. Main issue was how hot it was!! Not sure if its due the open kitchens. Temperature way to high Had to cancel my coffee and desert as I thought I'd pass out with the heat!

Brought our 2 friends and our eldest daughter for a roast dinner on Sunday 3 of us opted for the beef, 1 chicken & 1 lamb shank The food was next level, full of flavour & amazing The staff were welcoming and full of smiles, couldn’t fault any of them Can’t wait to come back again soon Thanks CDJ x

Came for my daughter’s birthday. Food was 10/10. Nothing was too much trouble. We love coming here to celebrate.

Must be 30 yars since I was last in Shepherd Rest, I wanted somewhere to take the family for a meal and my daughter suggested it. All I can say is fantastic, the service was very good and the food outstanding. I like a good steak and I requested Blue, and it came out cooked to perfection. all 9 of us adults and children alike really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. I highly recommend and all of us are now planning on eating there again.
