Lovely restaurant and great food we go to this restaurant about five times a year and it’s always delicious. Service is always excellent but this time we had the most miserable waiter ever no chatting ..no smiles and sort of very abrupt but he certainly knew his job but he does need to be a bit more cheerful and pleasant.And put a smile on his face…it makes you feel a bit uncomfortable sitting there.

The food was excellent, albeit there was a bit of a delay with my son’s food which came to the table a bit after we had all received ours. The Maitre D brought out a lovely little cake and ice cream presented with a candle for my daughter at the end of the meal, which was a really nice touch and made it special for her.

Table of 27 and communication was great everyone’s food came out correctly and on time piping hot. Food was excellent as always and excellent value for money. Customer service went above and beyond. They even allowed us to enjoy our birthday cake after everyone finished puddings, which some places usually don’t. It was a great atmosphere and everyone loved it as much as us. Thank you again for such an amazing night.

You would have to go a lot further to find a comparison.. We took advantage of the midweek offer and will certainly be back.

Lumpy mash, small amount of watery gravy, roast beef as if it was out of a packet. Uncooked cabbage and a burnt Yorkshire. Didn't feel like the staff made it easy to say anything as not the friendliest.
