Had Early Bird Menu - mussels in white wine followed by canelloni. Good choice, great service.

Food was fabulous lovely decor. Great service especially the young man with the glasses (sorry don’t know his name) He was so professional and had such a lovely manner. He is an asset to your business.

It was our first visit to The Lunesdale arms and we arrived early for our booking,We were warmly greeted by a server who name I didn't get( dark hair tied back and glasses)it wasn't a problem being early and she showed us to our table,The restaurant had a lovely ambience to it and it was very nicely furnished with some unusual lighting,Our drinks order was taken and the chardonnay wine was lovely and nicely chilled that I had 2 large glasses our lunch was very good we thoroughly enjoyed it,It was a very enjoyable visit and the ladies loo was the nicest one I had visit in a long long time.I would love to return in the future,You have a lovely establishment and wished I had had a local pub like yours.

Fantastic meal and service again at the Whitchaff

As mentioned on their website, The Sultan of Lancaster is situated in a former Methodist hall. The decoration is exotic and adds to the atmosphere. Staff are attentive and the service is very good. To be honest, the food is much like any other Bangladeshi (Indian) restaurant. However, most of the curry dishes, and especially the tandoori chicken, were overly salted. This detracted from what could have been quite tasty dishes making them lower in quality and so quite expensive too. This is reflected in my feedback scores.

Amazing food (as always) but it was the service we loved too. It was incredibly busy but the staff coped so well. Our waitress said she had only been there a week, she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable & just lovely. It’s our ‘go to’ place to eat in Rossendale & it genuinely never fails!

It is our second visit to CDJs and just as lovely as the first time! I have recommended it to several friends to visit and they have loved it! The food is fabulous. Beautiful setting and nice friendly staff! Have booked again for 2 more visits before the end of the year so looking forward to those. Highly recommend here

Food great, service not great

Fantastic food, delious and plenty of it, along witha lovely atmosphere made for a great evening. Staff very polite.

Visited Saturday the 9/11/24. Visiting family in Padiham and burnley. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Very clean. Reasonable prices value for money. Food was delicious I had the poy boy sandwich ate every morsel tasty and filling. We had 3 kids meals which were enjoyed. There were 6 of us in total and all enjoyed our meals. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definately be back when we visit again.

Excellent food and first class welcome and service

Food and service always consistent and very good here. Just stopped by for a quick lunch and were in and out in just over an hour which is what we wanted. We think this place is becoming a little bit of a hidden gem, slightly off peoples radar in the Ribble Valley but easily up with it's peers in the area. We have visited 3 times in the past 6 weeks after not going for 18 months.

Food was spectacular, as was the service and setting. We had a family birthday celebration and an age range from 3 to 91years and everyone loved the occasion, even though it was quiet because of the time of day that we came and that there was to have been a 'Taster Dinner Event' later that night. Thank you so much CDJ. Memorable experience! There may be other restaurants just as good as this one but I can assure you there are none better!

Another lovely meal

We came for breakfast on Sunday and it was spot on. I had the B&B Breakfast Bagel and my husband had the salmon and eggs on sour dough. Both were piping hot, presented lovely and tasted devine! Lovely atmosphere in the spotlessly clean restaurant with lovely relaxed service and attentive friendly staff.
