Excellent food, polite and friendly staff, cosy atmosphere. Well recommended.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnThe restaurant looked so grand from the outside we thought we must eat there. The venue was just as grand inside too and had a nice chilled atmosphere. We chose the Thali dish to get a taster of the food but were rather disappointed with the plainness of the selection (bhuna, tikka massalla and garlic chilli) and the mildness of the dishes. The food quality was good but just not special, though perhaps it was just the dishes in our selection. The staff were lovely and friendly.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterWe had a family birthday meal for 6 people here. My wife was mega impressed with the Brie, Spinach and Mushroom parcel with all the Sunday lunch trimmings. The pizzas were also excellent, really fresh and very tasty. The service was great and the music in the pub excellent!!
The Waterwitch – LancasterGood food, nice atmosphere.
The Station Hotel – LancasterMe and my partner visited for the first time yesterday for Sunday lunch. It was absolutely lovely. We both had a really good time highly recommend them and we will definitely be visiting again.
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyGreat food, great service and great atmosphere
Bread and Butter – PrestonAs regular customers, we've eaten many times here and the quality of the food and service are generally very good. In recent times the prices have increased but my main gripe is that when you order a sharing platter for two, they serve odd numbers of food items; eg one arancetta, 5 meatballs etc. It seems such basic and obvious thing to provide even numbers of foods so they are easily divided between two people. Otherwise great experience.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe were 4 adults and 2 children. The menu was varied and suited all tastes. The service was prompt and there was no indication that we needed to go straight after eating. The food was great, everyone said how much they enjoyed their choice. Would recommend.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe had a meal on Sat 17th Feb around 5pm there were 16 of us celebrating my Mum's birthday. What a fantastic place we will definitely be back. The staff could not be anymore helpful. They're so professional and polite was just a fantastic experience. The food ! wow, every meal from starter to main to dessert was just stunning we cannot wait to go back . Thank you so much
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe visited on Saturday 17th February for an evening meal, The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We shared the seafood tapas followed by fish goujons and the venison from the specials menu, The Shiraz was good and very reasonable. We had no room for a sweet. All in all it was excellent and would not hesitate to return.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeExcellent meal and service as ever. Leaking gents toilet could do with sorting out for what is otherwise a great venue.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyThis is the second time we’ve been to Tom’s Table and it was as delicious as last time. Previously having had Sunday lunch, we decide to come for steak and date night. The steaks were cooked perfectly, we chose to have the cheese soufflé and ham hock fritters to start which were amazing. Great service and great value for money. We will be back
Toms Table – ClitheroeFabulous service and food. They accommodated the individual needs of a group member happily. Have been several times at lunch time and NEVER disappointed.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeExcel value for money ,6 people had the lunch platters ,1 vegan platter catered for ,all includes a glass of wine each £30 for 2 people ! Amazing fresh unusual salad with orange and fennel in …delicious ,love the peppers and the chick pea fritters fantastic, nothing to not like ,quick service and nice staff , I have been before many times ,but my parents never had Italian tapas ,usually like one big plate of food ,but my dads hearty appetite was satisfied
A’Vucciria – Rawtenstall5* service and food. All the staff are welcoming and professional, food all cooked to perfection really enjoyed our meal and will be visiting again.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent food- great ingredients and flavours. Excellent service- highly recommend.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeWe’ve been going for many years. We love the food here. A little disappointed at the price of children’s meals going up so much, but apart from that, very good.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyI just love this pub. Great food in a smart and cozy atmosphere. It has recently just changed hands but the in-house team chefs and all still remain. This is great news ! So come on guys let’s give them some support. Keep up the good work Lunesdale Arms Regards Happy Mike.
