Great lunch
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallStaff friendly, great food. only thing to complain about was that they didn't give us much time between our starter and main meal.. Felt a bit rushed... But I'm sure I will go again.. Hope it was just a one off...
Papa Luigis – ChorleyWhat a lovely place to enjoy a few hrs with a friend ,atmosphere ,food and service was spot on . Good value for your money also ,thank you for looking after you customers.
Rileys Taproom and Wine Bar – ChorleyAbsolutely the best food ever. The friendliness and service of the staff and the atmosphere are all brilliant
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe recently celebrated my birthday at Riley’s Loft with c15 friends - as usual everything was perfect. The wine list is great, the pizzas are fantastic and all the staff are friendly and can’t do enough to help. Jack’s Dirty Martinis were top notch! Would highly recommend for a quiet drink or a bigger get together with a group
Rileys Loft – ChorleyFirst visit to Verdes but won’t be our last The food was absolutely superb from the pate starter to the sumptuous mains Service was discreet but attentive nothing too much trouble Atmosphere was lively & welcoming Not rushed at all even though it was busy & very good value for money Excellent
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyThis was our 4th visit each time the food has been excellent service outstanding. The atmosphere in the restaurant is friendly it is decorated very good the little pond is a very nice view i imagine on a summer's day sitting outsider would be nice .
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWe love the whitchaff , came last Xmas eve & it was amazing so we booked again this Xmas eve , not the same experience unfortunately . It was really cold , I asked for the fire to be lit which they did but it wasn’t checked so went out quickly . Our food also was just warm , I understand how busy they are this time of year & all the staff were fantastic but it’s a lot of money to spend . We will be back but just not at Xmas when it’s too busy .
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallMy very first time in a restaurant on Christmas Day. Congratulations Verdes! Smiling faces welcomed us when we arrived with Merry Christmas wishes. A welcome drink then piping hot starter followed by piping hot main and desserts as all ordered in advance. Food was delicious, relaxed atmosphere superb service thank you ream Verdes!
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyBooked and confirmed for 10 people on Christmas Day. On arrival there was some confusion regarding my booking, however, staff finally confirmed it with their records. We were seated and enjoyed an enjoyable Christmas Dinner, excellent food and staff who were working hard in a busy restaurant always pleasant and with a smile. Despite it being obviously busy on Christmas Day EVERY member of staff including those working hard in the kitchen should be complemented for the standard of food produced and their customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for next Christmas.
The Plough Inn – OrmskirkThe amount of waiting times between courses was ridiculous my turkey dinner was only look warm unfortunately I like my food piping hot,I think the pub itself should have closed to the general public after a couple of hours like other pubs do which gives the staff serving Xmas dinner's more time far too many customers and not enough staff poorly organised. You should not have to ask for your food or clear dirty plates yourself.
The Plough At Eaves – PrestonAnother fabulous meal with generous proportions, very tasty. Relaxed surroundings and great service. We will be back.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleFantastic food and restaurant. The service was brilliant and the staff were all really friendly and attentive. Perfect way to start xmas eve. Will be back again!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleSelection and quality of food excellent. Staff and service also excellent . Atmosphere pleasant - expected on Christmas Eve. Good value for money
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe are regulars here and it’s our favourite restaurant when we fancy lovely home cooked food. The turkey dinner was gorgeous so tasty. We have enjoyed every meal. Staff are always welcoming.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallI had the three course Christmas menu and it was delicious. Good choice (the main menu was also available) and quick, pleasant service. Never been disappointed at the Three Millstones and will definitely be going back. The Christmas gravy is the best I’ve ever tasted !
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeNice starters (Meatballs and Prawns) Mains Sheppards Pie there was way to much mash on a watery lamb shank stew, not much meat. Braised beef pie….. tonnes of salt in the filling, the pastry was excellent, get the seasoning correct and that pie would look and taste amazing! Burger…. Burger patty wasn’t seared… patty looked poached!!
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenThe food was delicious and service excellent! We will definitely return.
