Lovely meal with first class service, great choice and all priced fairly
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent food and exceptional service.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallBeautiful food, well cooked, well presented and good service. Nice brunch choices. Not the cheapest but the quality is good so it doesn’t feel overpriced.
Bread and Butter – PrestonWe booked the Festive Menu for Sunday 21st December for 4 of us. The food was fresh and tasty as always. A perfect relaxed afternoon to chat and enjoy some downtime. We visit at least once a week it's our first choice.
Bees Kitchen and Deli – ChorleyWhat a little gem the shepherds rest is.. we haven’t been for about 15 years.. and randomly decided to try it the week before Christmas! OMG the food is absolutey delicious and the staff are so lovely.. it was that good I brought my mum and dad back the following Sunday! We’re now arguing over what’s best.. the beef pie or the cheese & onion pie! Well worth a visit! 10/10 xx
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenBest Game Pie I have ever tasted. My wife had the sea food Linguine was excellent. Will be back soon. All was good.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleQuite a few of things on menu were unavailable so didn't have much choice. One person ordered a steak medium rare and came back well done. No offer of re doing the steak. Another member had cold vegetables with her chicken. So first impressions not good.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyLovely food and atmosphere as always and great service. A piece of constructive feedback is to serve more bread with the meat plater. 2 thin slices of baguette is not enough in my opinion. Other than that it was fabulous and offer of 3 dishes for £20, great. It can get a little noisy at times though as it has such a high ceiling.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallSuperb as always Service and food great
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFood was good, but service was slow , left at entrance for about 5 mins before we were acknowledged, showed to table, no drinks order taken even though our drinks from the bar were empty, food came , no side vegetables, then wine came , then waiter prompted a waitress to get our side of vegetables, has to ask for desert menu twice, just not a great experience as last time we visited.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkGood service. Great food. Will return soon.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleDuring Christmas week every year, about 50 of us do a big hike around the Calder valley, normally going to the Pack Horse at Widdop) for lunch. This year however, we decided to go to the other side of the valley and haave lunch at The Shepherds Rest. I cant express how beautifully they accomodated fort us. The food, the service, the atmosphere was perfect. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenGreat lunch
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallStaff friendly, great food. only thing to complain about was that they didn't give us much time between our starter and main meal.. Felt a bit rushed... But I'm sure I will go again.. Hope it was just a one off...
Papa Luigis – ChorleyWhat a lovely place to enjoy a few hrs with a friend ,atmosphere ,food and service was spot on . Good value for your money also ,thank you for looking after you customers.
Rileys Taproom and Wine Bar – ChorleyAbsolutely the best food ever. The friendliness and service of the staff and the atmosphere are all brilliant
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe recently celebrated my birthday at Riley’s Loft with c15 friends - as usual everything was perfect. The wine list is great, the pizzas are fantastic and all the staff are friendly and can’t do enough to help. Jack’s Dirty Martinis were top notch! Would highly recommend for a quiet drink or a bigger get together with a group
Rileys Loft – ChorleyFirst visit to Verdes but won’t be our last The food was absolutely superb from the pate starter to the sumptuous mains Service was discreet but attentive nothing too much trouble Atmosphere was lively & welcoming Not rushed at all even though it was busy & very good value for money Excellent
