Another excellent meal at Tom's Table. Lovely food and attentive, friendly but discreet service. It is always value for money, you can see and taste the work and skill that goes into producing the food. Already looking forward to our next visit.
Toms Table – ClitheroeYesterday evening was the 2nd time that me and my partner have dined at the Trawden Arms, we love the atmosphere and best of all the huge portions of food we’ve received.
Trawden Arms – ColneAmazing food, excellent staff, nice atmosphere, great value for money. We have been frequenting this place for almost 40 years and cannot fault it !
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleEverything top class, the staff were all lovely, food tasty, and the ambiance was just right. We definitely be visiting again
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAlthough the restaurant was very busy, the service was excellent and food very good. I had chicken livers for starter and then beef stroganoff which was very tender and tasty!
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyGreat food, great service. Simple.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenBeautiful food, surrounds and lovely staff.
Toms Table – ClitheroeReally lovely place and food to match!!The restaurant manages the rare trick of being both peaceful and lively with lots of buzz and atmosphere.Best of all is the menu. We especially liked the small plates and ordered six of the best between the two of us(more than enough with the lovely puds).Do try the cheese souffle...its one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth!!Nice wines and beers on offer too.All very reasonably priced so go soon!!!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleFirst time we’ve been since the revamp. Food and service excellent. I’d booked online and presumed we would be in the restaurant but we were put in the bar on bucket chairs and a small round table. Unfortunately the chairs were not at a comfortable height to eat - too low. The open plan seems to have made it very noisy although there were some very loud people in that night so maybe that was why! We would definitely go again but would ring and ask for a table in the restaurant part next time.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe enjoyed afternoon tea here yesterday very much. As we couldn’t finish everything the waitress put the little cakes in a box for us to take home.
Bread and Butter – PrestonAbsolutely delicious food. Freshly cooked. Staff friendly and attentive. Highly recommended
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeFirst visit to Toms Table, wonderful experience the place itself located of a small square makes you feel like you are on holiday. Inside the surroundings are comfortable and charming with pleasant and helpful staff. The food was tasty and nicely presented. We will certainly be back. On the downside it isn’t conducive to people with mobility issues, there are steps both ways to enter the restaurant and the toilets are upstairs.
Toms Table – ClitheroeWhat a super find, decor and ambience lively. Service excellent and food - varied choice all delicious! Thoroughly recommend!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleHad another fabulous meal , as always. Great food, service , relaxed and lovely ambiance . We will be back soon, thank you.

Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe visited three times during our stay in Todmorden. Fabulous food. The meatballs were exceptional, as were the shepherd's pie and the fish pie. The lemon merengue sundae was amazing. Really fresh, high quality, local produce. Portions are generous. Ask for a table in the back with fabulous view over the moors. Bank holiday weekend, so a few things on the menu were not available but there were plenty of alternatives. Would be good if staff warned what is not available when they give out menus. Staff are friendly and warm. Highly recommend. Hope to return one day!
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenThis is our favourite restaurant in Rawtenstall. Atmosphere, service and food are always perfect. Its not cheap but well worth the extra spending. With a cocktail/beer on arrival, a bottle of wine with dinner, 6 or 7 dishes to share plus dessert expect to pay about £50+ per head. We always leave with sore tummys from eating too much but its so hard to resist. We always order the mushrooms in gorganzola sauce, delicious ribs in BBQ sauce and I cant resist the raw oysters, their always big, plump and juicy. There's a board that changes each day depending on what the chef buys and we always find fresh seafood on it. Huge prawns chargrilled in the shell, marinated octopus on a bed of lentils, there's always something new and delicious. Make sure to book as they get busy especially over the weekend.
