Quattro’s – OrmskirkOur party of 5 thought the 5 course tasting menu evening was excellent! The only downside was because it took so long to get through all the courses it was near to 10 o'clock before we ate our desert, which was a bit late for us, bearing in mind you should leave at least 2 hours after eating before going to bed. We enjoyed the time lapse between each course and meant we could enjoy each course, so would like to suggest that you start serving the food at 7pm instead of 7.30, making a 6.30pm for 7 instead of 7 for 7.30.
Whins Green KitchenGreat food, great service & friendly staff. Such a happy atmosphere and other customers keen to tell you how good their meal had been.
Bread and Butter – PrestonGreat food, staff and location. Well worth the 40 minute drive. I’ve been going here for over 25yrs. First class!
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenFirst time here what a lovely visit. Friendly staff . Our dog was fussed over and fresh water given ...dog treats. Had Sunday lunch it was delicious and vegetable selection was brilliant. The Yorkshire pud yummy. ... well worth a visit and glad we booked as rather busy.We can see why!
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenFirst visit and loved it! Service, food and atmosphere all excellent!
Bread and Butter – PrestonCame over to the area to meet a friend for dinner and stumbled across the inn when searching for a place to eat in the area . Newly refurbished inside and Food was excellent , massive choice, and service was fab. A little hidden gem
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe had catch up with some girls that have not been before and they were all impressed. Nice meal and lovely service.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe had a fabulous time at Tom’s Table; for most of us it was our first visit and now it won’t be the last. The food was good quality and delicious; the service was friendly and efficient. Two of the group had the steak and wine offer and they thought the steak was excellent. Three of us had sea bream but one asked for a different sauce, which was no problem to the chef. The evening was good value for money.
Toms Table – ClitheroeGreat tasting food and excellent value for money. Service was spot on and obviously a very good chef. Would not hesitate in recommending Millstones Mill for a meal.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeLunchtime midweek treat. Fab ham n pineapple handmade pizza with extra fresh chillies and garlic cheese bread to start . My friend had the creamy risotto , Looked delicious ! This place is always great vfm and offers a wide range of home made foods .
Quattro’s – OrmskirkOur go to Italian in Chorley area. We've tried them all and nothing beats Verdes. A welcoming dining area with views of the duck pond. Food, quality and choice is very good and portions just right. (Manged to get three courses in) a good drinks selection and plentiful, staff very friendly and helpful.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyFood & service is great - delicious king prawn starter & very tasty duck. Have been a few times & always enjoyed. only negative this time was a table next to us, who were talking so loudly at each other that we had to shout just to hear each other at our table .
Toms Table – ClitheroeIt was a shame as they were running out of quite a few of the menu items as it was bank holiday Monday tea time. But what we had was ok. Staff very friendly and helpful but seemed quite a long wait for the food.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenWe sat outside in the sunshine with the dog while the children played in the play area. The food was really good and enjoyed by all. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Thank you. We will definitely be back.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenAmazing food as always . Lovely staff, would definitely recommend.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeFantastic views even in the rain. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Sunday roast is a must came with three lots of potatoes and three lots of vegetables. Nice touch was the extra gravy in a little jug. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeMaxys’ is a delightful restaurant, one we’ve visited many times. We had a later reservation yesterday near close, and unfortunately the food wasn’t up to their usual wonderful standards. The staff as always were delightful so hopefully next time we can enjoy as usual.
