The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichReally lovely meal. Arrived an hour early to our table as we’d finished our hike earlier than anticipated, they still accommodated us and found us an available table. Food was lovely & service was super quick ☺️
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyAs always, brilliant all round.
Pacino’s – ChesterI’ve had many recommendations to visit Bacchus - so this was our first time - was given table 7 which for me was disappointing due to getting a cold blast every time the door opened !! (Will not want this table again ) Otherwise menu had great choices and excellent wine menu which pleased my husband !! We had a great meal and very enjoyable wine surround by nice ambience . We have already booked a further 2 visits with friends !
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldHad such a great evening with our family and our dog. Food was great, our grandson can’t stop talking about his pizza : ) All the staff were brilliant and attentive. Lovely experience- thankyou
Elmas Restaurant – LymmWe were a large party and we booked on the day. We couldn’t book a single table so we booked two online. The team called us when they realised we were a large group and offered to combine the bookings to a single table. They were also really honest about how busy things would be due to a theatre event and advised us to come slightly later to avoid having to wait for food, even though they could have taken more for drinks during the wait. They were so friendly and accommodating throughout and the food was lovely. The atmosphere was lovely as there seemed to be a lot of local regulars, which showed how good a restaurant it is. We had a great night and this was a highlight of our trip to Chester. It’s on the list to visit again when we come back. Thank you for such a great meal!
Pacino’s – ChesterChester's Hidden Gem! We had yet another amazing family meal. Restaurant was very busy but service was excellent. Food came at the same time so no one was waiting. Great quality food with plenty of choice.
Pacino’s – ChesterStaff and service was amazing but the food let it down .most of the meals /starters were overcooked .
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamDelicious food
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamAs always very nice food and excellent staff. Always make you feel welcome.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyOur meal consisted of 3 courses, there were 4 diners, each having different starters and mains, the food was delicious and could not faulted.,desserts were genous in the portion size. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. A good selection of beer and wine. Will definitely be back.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichChester has many restaurants but I have been visiting Pacinos's for nearly 40 years. Celebrating birthdays & anniversary's with my husband & we have never been disappointed. All the staff are very friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble. If you go for the midweek special menu it is very good value. Keep up the good work!
Pacino’s – ChesterThe young girl who took our order was very polite -we waited about 45 mins -another 40 mins before our food came -the drinks coffees hot chocolate were cold -cold milk brought after asking for hot milk for coffee!! The older lady brought our meals after a long wait-one lady was brought a vegetarian meal she isn't vegetarian and didn't ask for it -she sloke to the person whi brought the meal -she didn't apologise or offer the lady the meal she asked for -then the girl who took our order came to the table with the meal that was ordered -but spoke to the older woman whi we assume told the girl to take it back to the kitchen!!! No apology-their was no ham on the meal the older woman didn't offer to bring the meal that was ordered -instead of apologising she then brought 2 slices of ham again no apology-stony faced -what a terrible cafe -the meal should have been replaced immediately -also the cutlery on our table was dirty!!! We went to pay -the older lady took payment and again not a sorry for their mistake just took the money no smile no apology -top of our list never to visit that place again -very disappointed -the woman couldn't care less-she shouldn't run a business if she can't cope-
Cafe De Paris – NantwichGood food and service a little slow
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWe had a wonderful evening here. The atmosphere was fantastic even though the restaurant was full, it never felt noisy and we could easily chat and hear each other, which made the experience really enjoyable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and a special mention to the wine waiter who was excellent and kept our glasses topped up throughout the evening. The food was superb and perfectly matched by the wine we chose. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked again to celebrate a family birthday. Highly recommended.
