This was our first lunchtimes visit to The Plough. Just as good as our previous evening visit. Very pleasant staff and good food at a reasonable price. A very pleasant dining experience, well worth seeking out.

Choosing to meet up with friends at the Edgerton Arms was a real winner. We all enjoyed the food which was ample and tasty and well presented. Good service. The only negative was that the actual spot we were in felt a little cramped, in the bar. We will be back!

Amazing food, the best beef roast! Great value for money.

I booked a table of 4 for Father's Day. I can not believe how large the roast dinners are. They would feed the most hungry person. Half the size was more than enough for me. You defiintely get value fir money. Very tasty and well worth the money, just be prepared to be hungry to get one. I did see a few other dishes on tables and they all looked large portions so great value. The kebabs on skewers looked lovely too. Very welcoming staff with good customer service and such a lovely pub inside. Definitely would go again and highly recommend it.

A lovely and tasty Sunday lunch the staff are freindly the younger members work very hard and very polite. Would definitely recommend a visit to this pub.

Dinner for four in the lovely Italian restaurant. Couldn’t fault it - superb service from start to finish. Excellent food - my compliments to the chef. A great experience.

My husband and I dined here last night, a Friday , and were surprised that the restaurant was not full! We soon found out why, the bar was packed with diners watching the football between Germany and Scotland! We were warmly welcomed, the service was friendly the staff were helpful bringing our meals at the time we asked for them . Everything was very well presented and the taste was excellent. The portions were very large and beautifully cooked and we wished that we didn`t live 150 miles away from this wonderful pub!!

Went to the Carriers to celebrate a family birthday about 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. Last night was a major disappointment. The menu was ordinary and with very little choice for the vegetarians in our party this time (unless happy with veggie burger or hot dog). Portions had shrunk and the impression was of ‘ping and ding’ food which no chef had a hand in. We expected more from the Carriers, especially at the prices charged.
