Our dance group had a nice meal and catch up. Food was good and main meals reasonably priced. Only a few had room for dessert, which were a bit pricey. Will no doubt be back again.

I’m very disappointed with the service l pay for the procesco but they didn’t serve any ! Service was terrible definitely l don’t want back

First visit. It was a lunchtime so had their lunch 2 course menu. Exceptional food at a good price. The service was very good. It was a little chilly but it was very cold January day. Will certainly be back.

First time at Elmas. Went on a Friday lunchtime for my wife's Birthday. Not too busy. Service was excellent. Food from the Lunch menu was plentiful, tasty and good value for money. Son couldn't eat all of his but it was so tasty he didn't want to leave it so they packed it up for him to take home for his tea. We Will be back.

New Year’s Day lunch was a lovely opportunity to experience great food, excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a visit and nothing disappoints in this location

Absolutely great New Years Eve @ Elmas, food excellent, service brilliant the young ladies are quite exceptional friendly polite and attentive, so much so the service runs like clockwork. The entertainment was good and the DJ had everyone on their feet. We didn’t know what to expect but very happy we booked and will book again for 2026. Thank you Elmas.

New Years Eve meal very good and service excellent, but it was very quiet. Booked for 20:00 and pub closed at 22:30 but no coffees or tea available at 21:20 as “machine turned off”. We weren’t rushed out or anything but nothing to stay for.

Service and food top class,well worth the journey,unable to give top marks for atmosphere as booking was early afternoon,quiet,but relaxing.

Enjoyed the experience was amazing all the staff were very attenative, nothing was too much trouble. We went for New years Eve, everywhere was decorated beautifully and the food once again was amazing.

Always look forward to going to the Alvanley. Not only is it always predictably great food, the welcoming staff and service is first rate.

From the moment we checked in on NYE until we left on NYD when Milly booked us in and checked us out we found all the staff we came in contact with from the lady tending the bar and kitchen, Sam who looked after us relentlessly In the dinning room, including the male staff working on NYE, we had a lovely time and the food was delicious, first class…..

Great food and service for New Year’s Eve lunch. We changed our booking twice on the day and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us. The menu choices were lovely and the food hot and tasty. They even had a treat for our pooch. Well done to the Alvanley Arms team.

We had a lovely evening. There were 7 of us. The welcome was warm and friendly. The service was quick. The food was delicious and hot. Everyone enjoyed it.
