A Monday evening. Good beer to start with. The service was very welcoming and the staff equally so. Very good selection of food. Not a burger in site! I had the lamb shoulder. My wife and sister had the fish pie. We are all a little bit picky when it comes to food. What I can say my said “this is the best fish pie she has ever had” OMG what a compliment. I throughly enjoyed my lamb shoulder. Exquisite. Eating out is not cheap nowadays. Would we eat here again. Yes . Can we recommend the Pheasant Inn. Without hesitation!

We head straight here for lunch after arriving via the Settle & Carlisle line from West Yorkshire as it's close to the station. Great food and service. Really enjoy it.

Back up the lakes for caravan season H&F is our go to for sunday lunch. Best around. Always welcome food is outstanding. Need to come for evening meal as not done that yet. But we will have to remedy that. First class.

Had Sunday roast on March 22nd. Delicious roast beef, my husband had pork - large portions and good selection of veg. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive and food came quickly. Lovely log fire in the far room and they put the electric 'wood burner' stove on for me when I said I was cold! Would definitely go again when in Keswick.

Love it at Adriano's been coming here 17 years and will always be back, wonderfuk staff, wonderful food and never breaks the bank.

Went for Sunday lunch……we all had the roast beef dinner. Beef cooked to perfection, delicious “proper” gravy, roast and mashed potatoes, more than enough vegetables, and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Absolutely well worth the money. Staff were all friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere in the pub.

We come to this amazing pub frequently and are never disappointed. The Sunday roast was amazing. Roast beef and all the trimmings. Started with a wonderful home made game terrine. We had no room for desserts. The staff are great, friendly and super efficient. It’s such a wonderful pub!

On holiday in Keswick we travelled to Penrith to have dinner at Grants. The food was excellent! and worth the journey. Service was also very good. Only criticism was the lack of any atmosphere and the room/furniture which didn't make it feel special.

It’s the second time I have been to sage & vine, and again not disappointed, the couple with us really enjoyed their first visit, staff very attentive but not overly, food was delicious, highly recommend

Excellent food and service and a great atmosphere. Have visited for lunch and dinner now and would recommend.
