Food was excellent, I found a new way to serve beef stroganoff which tasted superb. The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. It has been two years since we were last here and all was as good as we remembered.

Great food, super service, nice ‘buzz’ in the restaurant, reasonable prices. What’s not to like. Well done team.

Simply the best pub food in Keswick

Came along 3rd April with my husband Ian and our dear friends Sam and Gary for a joint birthday celebration for myself and Sam and we were not disappointed. Everything about our evening was fabulous, the food, the wine recommendation, the service, all were excellent. We didn't feel rushed at all, it was like sitting around the dinner table at home! A thoroughly enjoyable experience which we definitely repeat!!

Fantastic food in a wonderful location. Staff even allowed us to sample how hot the curry sauce was before deciding if we wanted to order. Would definitely come back next time we are in Grasmere.

Visited La Mezzalluna with 2 friends who hadn’t dined there before , we were all very impressed with the quality of the food and value for money along with great service , we were visitors to Carlisle but would have no hesitation in recommending and will definitely visit again during our next visit

Brilliant little venue, great service and super quality food. Always book a table when visiting the Lakes. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I made a last minute booking here and we were not disappointed. It was very busy bit all the staff were attentive and everything was going smoothly. My husband had the Lamb Henry and I had the Venison Bourginion. The portions were hearty to say the least, no one could grumble at value for money. It was also delicious. We were gluttons and had pudding. My husband went for the cheesecake while I tackled the cheeseboard which would have easily served two. I would definitely go here again if in the lake district.

Very friendly staff, who couldn't do enough. The food was excellent, all piping hot, well presented and very tasty. My wife and her mum had Scampi and I had the sausage swirl, which was chosen as I am a coeliac and on a gluten free diet. We were all asked if we had any dietary needs prior to ordering. We had deserts which were delicious. All in all a great meal to celebrate my wife's birthday.

We've been returning to this lovely restaurant for a few years now. It never fails to impress.. From Heather delivering the friendly informed service, to the excellent food... The menu is not very large, but it is a small venue, BUT.. We have never been disappointed with the quality of everything.. Would definitely recommend to anyone to visit..

We had early evening meal on 12/04, team members were efficient and friendly, as a party of two we shared baked Camembert as a starter, it’s a favourite of mine and didn’t disappoint, I had sea bass and husband had steak pie we can recommend both and hope to be back soon.

First time here. Lovely friendly waitress. Meal was amazing, really good variety on menu. Will definitely return and recommend to everyone.

6 of us went for Sunday lunch.3 had lamb and 2 beef and we all thought our meals were excellent. Thw other person had fish and chips which rated the best she had ever had. Although we were all full, we could not resist the desert menu. 5 of us had the .mascapone and rubharb with cinder toffee, flapjack and ice crea., absolutely delicious and the other one had the pofiterole, again superb. This pub is highly recommended
