Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithAn excellent Sunday lunch, couldn't fault it. Good friendly service as well. Will definitely go back next time we're in the area.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithBest pub for food in Keswick. The staff are friendly, the service is great and the food choice & quality is excellent. We have been eating here for many years when we visit Keswick and always recommend to others. Dog friendly. A good idea to book!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickExcellent meal and very friendly staff, had the tempura vegetables and the prawns for starters and the confit pork and the herb crusted cod for mains and they were all delicious, best pork belly I have had in years.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe had a fantastic meal and can't recommend Lewis's highly enough for top quality dining in Grasmere. We shared a generous portion of bread, oil, balsamic and olives to start, then both had seabass which was a very well presented and fantastic tasting dish, a good portion size too. I only just had room to squeeze in the essential sticky toffee pudding! We rolled out very satisfied. Another customer nearby was not happy that the cheeseboard was unavailable, but they can't really help it if their delivery didn't arrive. We thought the service was great from the gent serving us and it was a really delicious meal, also lovely wine, where we were not rushed. Would definitely return (again) when next in the area.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereGood food as always. We always book The Pheasant when we come to Keswick
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFood was amazing (as it always has been) lovely atmosphere, staff friendly helpful & attentive. 100% recommend.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleWe always eat here at least twice when we holiday in the area. The food is always of a high standard and delicious. The online booking system is simple to use. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the pub has a great atmosphere nestled in the village of Dacre. A definite choice if you are in the area.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithNice food but over run with flies

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereJuly 9th. Oh my, a wonderful experience at S&Vine. From Settle to Carlisle on the train. We walked 200 yds to S&Vine for a fantastic meal. A wow factor was the dessert, Pistachio Afragato with Tiramisu icecream with hot espresso coffee ☕️to drizzle. 200yds back to the train to home. A great day. See you all again. CxJ
