What a find! We were on a day trip Settle Carlisle and had researched somewhere to have lunch. Wonderful food, beautifully presented with cheerful helpful staff. Cannot recommend high enough! Wish we had one locally!

Excellent Sunday Lunch. Great service by attentive staff, even though The Pheasent was busy, as it always is when we visit. We definitely visit again when we are in the area. Would highly recommend going.

Visited for a birthday meal. From the booking process through to the meal the staff were incredible, so helpful and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, beautiful choice, great ingredients, wonderfully presented and tasted amazing! Good portion size too. We were allowed to take our own cake, they let my son bring it out and even took it to the kitchen to cut it up for us etc. lovely atmosphere, smart but relaxed and friendly. 100% recommend

We called for Sunday lunch, and as always it was delicious! Everything was well seasoned and cooked very well. The staff are friendly, polite and there seems to be little turnover of them. My husband is gluten intolerant. Excellent food choice and delighted to have GF beer on tap!!! Not cheap but worth the cost. Highly recommend.

We have been to the Pheasant a few times for Sunday dinner and it never disappoints! Always great food, attentive staff and quick service. We recommend it to anyone coming to Keswick!

We had a lovely meal as always. Sunday roast, fish and chips and cheese burger followed by jam sponge, ice cream and the nectarine and hazelnut crumble. The staff were attentive and friendly and you are always made to feel very welcome. Lovely olde world pub with a great atmosphere. We have already booked for next month.

We ate here two nights while staying at the Haven site just up the road and were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Although it was a brewery owned pub it had the feel of a local pub. All of our food was very high quality and really well prepared, it all tasted home made, unlike so many brewery owned places. We would all highly recommend a visit and if we are in the area again, we will definitely be coming back.

Such a welcoming lovely place, staff really friendly, we stayed overnight, room and facilities excellent & spotlessly clean! We enjoyed the steaks on the evening menu cooked perfect and plenty choice for the breakfast on offer for staying guests. Will look forward to visiting again.
