Went for dinner on Saturday night and then back for the Sunday roast. Food both days were absolutely delicious, great size portions. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend, but definitely book ahead as it's always busy

Wine very good value steak as tender as you’d want it to be and service was excellent. All in all a very good dining experience and would definitely visit again.

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereVisited for the first time on Saturday evening. Although the main menu was very comprehensive, we both chose from the specials board. Both dishes, chicken with bearnaise sauce , and cod fillet with soy, garlic and chilli sauce, were amazing. Service was good and staff very friendly. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Keswick.

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe actually travelled over an hour to come back for a second visit at this lovely restaurant. It was well worth the trip! We thoroughly enjoyed all the excellent food. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff are very welcoming. Plus, they even allow dogs.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickEarly evening meal on a damp August Tuesday. This pub was so cosy and staff welcoming, no wonder it’s popular. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. We had squid starter followed by venison bourginon with fresh vegetables and Cumberland sausage and mash. First rate pub food, much better than most. Good understanding of gluten free options and dogs welcome. Park roadside or car park nearby.. Tickex all the boxes!

Grants supplied a very decent offer on wine and more than acceptable food offering after we had phoned ahead due to the delights of the M6! Nor crowded on a Sunday night but a pleasant experience after a long day. Would be happy to return if in the area again.
