Excellent food and extensive menu at very reasonable price served by polite and efficient staff.

We really enjoyed our afternoon tea at Augill , the castle is lovely, we were in the dining room on our own with a roaring log burner. Staff were really friendly and nice. Afternoon tea was different from the norm which was really nice also. Would recommend if you want a different style of afternoon tea.

That the Pheasant Inn was so busy on the evening of Monday January 2nd tell you lots about how good it is. We were a table of 3 and booked the day before, having failed to get in on several previous trips to Keswick. The menu is reassuringly limited suggesting they actually cook the food but it is sufficiently varied to provide for most tastes. Despite being short staffed the service was good- warm, friendly and sufficiently efficient. The food was great and so was the beer. Will gladly return on future trips to Keswick, if we can get in!

This is a great pub. The food is fab ( fish pie superb). The staff are lovely and work very hard. Love the fact you can now book on line.

We had an evening meal on New Years day. The food was lovely and a really decent portion. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. We eat here every time we visit Keswick and are never disappointed. Would recommend a visit

What a charming place for a weekend getaway. We stayed at Augill castle for the the new year break enjoying a sumptuous new years eve dinner. The afternoon tea was also a real treat on new years day. The accomodation was comfortable and spacious and the hospitality team was helpful and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We went here for New Year’s Day Sunday lunch it was absolutely superb… the food was outstanding and the staff very friendly, helpful and fabulous welcoming atmosphere will definitely be returning and definitely worth a visit ..

Went for a lovely meal on New Years Day, food was delicious. Portions though are way two big (strange thing to say I know) but I ordered the onion bhaji to start (3) in one portion, then had the chicken parmigiano, the chicken breast was so big, you could have got two portions out if it, hence I could not finish mine, which I was so annoyed as it was lovely! My husband waived on the starter and opted for the Philly cheese steak and fries which he really enjoyed, then his fave pud - sticky toffee pudding with custard. The two of us were full to bursting. Staff are all friendly and attentive but not in your face. Reasonably priced and a lovely end to a fab New Year

Good pub food in a lovely traditional pub atmosphere. Friendly staff and goid service. Will definitely return when we are in Keswick.

A party of three had lunch with you on Friday 30th December. We were at the big round table in the window by the fire. It had been a very wet week so the fire stoked up was really welcome. We all greatly enjoyed our meal. Service was quick and attentive. We have eaten with you before and will do so again.

Friendly service good pub grub and excellent surroundings. Our first visit but we will go back.

Absolutely fabulous. Every time we come to Keswick we make a point of dining at the Pheasant Inn lovely pub lovely food.

Had a beautiful meal for new year's eve. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The food was delicious and I cannot wait until we can visit again. Thank you
