Very pleasant meal as always. Service is excellent and food arrived promptly. I must apologise for getting my booking time wrong but this was no problem for the staff.

Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterAnother visit to Belluno and another lovely meal. The food was great - as usual - and the service was warm and friendly. It is such a great place for a relaxed evening out. The fettuccine salmone and linguine pescatore were absolutely gorgeous.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterGreat restaurant! Food is superb and they serve good sized portions. Staff were delightful and very friendly. The Limoncello was delicious! Thank you so much for a most enjoyable evening, lovely atmosphere and a menu to suit everyone - we will be back!
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterA delightful eaterie right in the centre of Axminster opposite the lovely church. Good varied choice of tasty starters, mains and puddings . Excellent friendly staff to welcome you in to the nicely designed clean restaurant and provide useful information about the menu. Will definitely go again when we are in the area.
Belluno Italian Axminster – Axminster5 star
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterSunday lunch for 3 people celebrating my husbands birthday. It’s a mixed review sadly. Lovely venue - cosy and welcoming. The starters were really very good ( black pudding scotch egg with soft yolk, monkfish scampi and the smoked haddock chowder). We then had a really really long wait for our main course… the waitress did apologise and gave us one free pint. We all ordered the roast beef - the beef was rare and delicious, generous portion lovely mixed of veg (swede puree, cabbage and cauliflower cheese, one carrot etc) and a large yorky. But, the potatoes were pretty much inedible and impossible to cut. I suspect they had once been lovely crisp roasties but they were now like leather. My son left all of his and my husband and I ate one each. Really very disappointing, and let the whole meal down. The waitress came to ask if everything was OK with our main course, and we told her all was delicious apart from the potatoes that were really poor quality… unfortunately, she just laughed ( I expect out of nerves/ not knowing what to say) and I assumed she would have told someone senior. But, appears not as the next thing was someone else asking about puddings, we declined as by now it was 4.30pm. When payment for the bill was taken the waitress asked how was the food… once again came some polite but honest feedback - she was more apologetic. So a mixed picture - slow with food, awful roast potatoes and lacking some customer service imho. Hoping this was just a one off, as it is a magical spot for a winters lunch by the fire.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWe booked a table for Sunday lunch at this charming country pub whilst on a flying visit to Devon. We were not disappointed and will definitely go back again. The staff were very helpful and friendly, it’s was nice to walk in to see locals drinking not just a food pub! The food its self was excellent with a great choice of meat and vegetables available at the self service carvery.
The Poltimore Inn – South MoltonHad a meal with a big group for a birthday. Everyone agreed best meal they have had in ages! Great atmosphere and nice people working there. Thanks!
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterAbsolutely fantastic always know what by our going to get. Great service Fabulous food Great value for money Definitely recommend
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterWe recently moved to the Village, and due to having a baby we weren't able to visit The Harbour Inn, although we admired its beauty from the outside! We finally booked a table for lunch and we were not disappointed! Inside is cosy and beautiful, with lots of tables and many fireside... the staff and owners are really lovely and friendly. The food didn't take too long to come out. Starters were a great size, and really delicious. Mains were nice too, although we would have liked a little more choice for the Children with starters (purely due to having a busy 2 year old, who didn't want to sit for long) All meals were very much enjoyed, one of the lasagnas was, unfortunately a little over cooked ...the other was enthusiastically scoffed down by my eldest Son, who loved it there so much, he asked to go back and visit again the next day! Overall really, really lovely and well worth the wait. We are eager to return once they reopen and hope to try their specials menu, (and hopefully one day, lobster) which we couldn't find when we were there. Fabulous
The Harbour Inn – SeatonIt's always a great pleasure to eat at The Swan. I suggest less chilli in the crab linguini please.
The Swan Inn – PlymouthHad a lovely family meal out and a few drinks great atmosphere in the bar and a separate dining area for a nice quiet meal , food was amazing the lamb shank was cooked beautifully and amazing value
The Poltimore Inn – South MoltonFantastic meal and ambiance. Have been a few times now and always good food and service. Friendly staff.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterFabulous food, cosy pub and the 2 lads serving that night could not have been anymore helpful and polite. There was a rhythm and blues band on that particular night which really added to the ambience !
The Harbour Inn – SeatonWarm friendly atmosphere and lovely food. Welcoming staff, a gem of a community pub.
The Poltimore Inn – South MoltonAbsolutely love visiting Belluno. The staff are always welcoming and helpful with efficient service. Food is consistent and really high quality. I have not had a dish that I could fault. The only thing that has impacted our experience the past few visits has been the temperature in the restaurant. It has been uncomfortably cold for everyone in the party resulting in us keeping coats on for the duration of the meal. Despite this, we will definitely be back time and time again.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterOutstanding food, service and atmosphere. First class in EVERY way.
