This was my first visit to The Derwent Manor and I was not disappointed. We ate in The Antler Bar - food was lovely and the service was excellent from the waiting staff to the bar staff. They were all very friendly and polite. As it was my 1st visit we had a look around. We visited Preggo and the reception area. Again the staff were approachable and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again!

Food nice but served cold and lunch offer of 3 tapas dishes for a reduced price was not honoured

We stayed at derwent manor hotel on a recent visit to bemish museum. Food in both the bar and restaurant were excellent service was excellent can't fault it in any way big thankyou to everyone at derwent manor hotel Regard phil mayoh

Met friends for lunch here. Great atmosphere and food was delicious. Very reasonably priced and lovely staff. I'll definately go back.

Food was fantastic when it eventually came, but we didn't mind as we knew it was a Saturday night. The service could have been better; no one checked we needed drinks even after turning the empty bottle of prosecco upside down. Staff were attentive if you got their attention but there was no ownership from staff to actually check back unless we got their attention first. Probably could have made more money off us if they'd asked if we needed any more drinks, we only had one round the 3 hours we were there because there was no check back. Also as a polite criticism, please make sure you aren't leaving children's meals sat under the hot plate - our two year old was given a plate so hot it burned one of the adults at the table. We had to ask for another plate that wasn't ludicrously hot.

Stayed many times. Noticed slow decline with impact of Covid not helping, particularly breakfast. Used to do all fresh, home made bread, own jams etc. Bacon was stone cold even though under the lamp. Waitress at dinner brought us the wrong meal and could not identify what it was which is a bit of a basic requirement, but it was resolved speedily. Food quality was good for the price. Staff all very friendly and warm but in some cases inexperienced.

We enjoyed our meal. The service was good and friendly. The range of choice on the menu was excellent and the food was good quality.

Fundamentally the food is good. However, the meat (chicken and pork) was overcooked and bone dry, chewy. The garlic bread arrived cold both times ordered. We were given several different tapas to those we ordered (not charged for these) but had long wait for correct items to arrive. None of the advertised olives on the large sharing cheese and charcuterie dish. Restaurant was cold and damp.

This was our 2nd visit to Gussto - it was absolutely fabulous again and we would thoroughly recommend! Great location and atmosphere and the food is wonderful!

Visited on 21/10/2023 as a table of 8 - 6 adults and 2 children aged 13 and 4. Have been a few times with my immediate family in the past and always been impressed. Option of 2 or 4 course meal definitely makes it even better value for money and the kids 3 course meal is excellent too. Everything we ordered was amazing - I ordered the black pudding scotch egg, garlic and herb kebab and sticky toffee pudding with custard - all super tasty. The only thing that was ordered that wasn't the best was the steak - it was described as "a bit tough" by the person who ordered it but other than that, a lovely family meal out in quirky surroundings.

We had a lovely meal in prego. Treated ourselves to 2 and a half courses each (we shared a dessert!). The mackerel pate was absolutely divine. The food was beautifully presented with taste to match. It was very busy but the staff were pleasant and done their best to serve us as quickly as possible.

Good value happy hour menu. Very friendly service and my friends said food was good. Unfortunately for me I have no taste following recent covid infection but it looked good.
