Went here Tuesday night as a party of 7 with a baby, got seated very quickly, waiter came over after 20 minutes to take drink orders,,then couldn’t take our meal orders until they sorted another table first, after an hour and 15 minutes got our starter then another hour for our main, which was a turkey dinner with 1 sprout 1 roast potatoe and one parsnip and a spoonful of cabbage and turnip we didn’t even hang on for the dessert as it was very late for the baby to be out by then so paid the bill and left , definitely wouldn’t be returning again as it looks like they can’t manage the kitchen even though it wasn’t that busy .

Came for the Christmas fayre menu. Seated promptly. Although supervisor who seated us didn’t engage at all when seating us. left 2 menus and walked off (bearing in mind there was 3 of us). Waited 25 mins to be offered a drink. We were also ready to order food at that point but the waitress said she would take our food order when she returned with the drinks. Service was very very slow from start to finish. Also weren’t offered any other condiments when food was served (ketchups & a vinegar sachet were already available on table) but no mayo, which I had to then wait another 7 minutes to ask for when the waitress returned with sweet potato fries that were missing from one of the dishes. We had no table check until we were finished mains. On the plus side, food was very nice. Service side let the restaurant down.

I booked at table for 9 for 5pm…. When we arrived staff showed us to our table… We were then greeted by a gentleman who wanted to take our food order ASAP…. When I asked if we could have a few drinks before we decided I was told that the kitchen shuts at 5…. If I knew this before I booked I would have book for 4pm…. But that aside, we all enjoyed the food, the service was great and the staff very friendly and helpful

A great venue and service first class, the turkey was delicious but the rest let it down. Cold and over cooked

Food was lovely but the service was very poor. There were a lot of staff but they seemed disinterested and didn’t check in us. They appeared to be busy wandering around but not checking on tables. We had to queue for ages at the bar to be directed to our reserved table. We then had to ask them to come to the table each time we needed something. The drinks order took ages to arrive, the food was lovely once it did arrive but one of the dishes was incorrect. We weren’t even offered desserts, and when our bill arrived it was incorrect. The second attempt at the bill was also incorrect. Despite the nice food we would not visit here again due to the terrible service. The table and menus were also not very clean and it had been a reserved table. The staff seemed disinterested and the majority weren’t very polite either. All in all a very disappointing experience ☹️

We went for Sunday Lunch. Three courses for £20. Very good value for money. Delicious prawn cocktail, silverside roast beef and crumble with custard. All tasted great and was obviously all made from scratch. No frozen microwave stuff here. Will defiantly go again

The menu was extremely limited considering it was the week before Christmas, no festive selection available. Food looked good, but unfortunately it was cool when it came out. Not value for money . With the combined experience with breakfast. No vegetarian sausages available despite being advertised on menu. Once again the food was lukewarm. This being the case we would not book this hotel again.

Absolutely loved our visit here! Good was amazing! Especially the profiteroles!! They are home made and are huge! I went for my birthday and had the best time so thankyou very much Farmhouse! Staff were amazing too! The whole place is gorgeous and really cosy to be in, prices are very fair, the happy hour deals are a proper bargain for the quality of food you get as well. To top of it off they have my favourite gin - Boe Violet which not many places do!! Thanks again Farmhouse! Im sure we'll be back again :)

Visited the Farmers Arms for the first time in a while. The place was quite cold so we had to keep our coats on for a while. The food was delicious, all 4 of us enjoyed what we ordered. The staff were externally friendly and helpful. Good quality wine.

Visited 06th Dec, couldn’t fault anything, restaurant was busy but the staff didn’t falter! Only complaint is you need to invest in some wine glasses, the wine was served in what could only be described as a pop glass.

There was an event in the main room so the evening menu was reduced. Prawn cocktail and parfait starters were ok. My main of mushroom risotto was cold and had to send it back. It was brought back heated up but had the consistency of rice pudding . My partners pork belly main was nicely cooked and the sticky toffee pudding was tasty. My Eton mess desert was basically a bowl of whipped double cream with no meringue and very little else. The service was very good and staff were helpful but half of the meal was very underwhelming

Fabulous Spanish restaurant. Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, good service, fun music! Fantastic vegetarian paella and the profiteroles were divine! Brilliant atmosphere in a cosy restaurant and old interesting building. Thank you! A great place to eat after enjoying the Christmas festival. Only suggestion- May be add a couple more dessert choices.

We went on a Thursday night for some food/drinks. The restaurant was very busy, and a little loud but the atmosphere was good! We ordered the burgers, which were amazing and made our way to the bar area for a couple of drinks, which was nice and cosy, with friendly service!
