We enjoyed an excellent three course meal as part of our hotel stay. All course were excellent, in particular our main. The quality and presentation of the food in particular and the restaurant atmosphere is very modern. We would definitely return and recommend.

Very impressed. The food was excellent and very good value for money. The service was also excellent and we were very well looked after.

Although the staff were wonderful, I was really disappointed with our meal. We stayed DBB and on the evening opted for the 'posh fish and chips'. The food arrived quickly and although the fish was well cooked, the rest of the food on the plate was very poor. The chips were stone cold, my pea puree was non-existent and under the bunch of cold fries was a load of what I think was completely burnt capers (hard to tell as they were so black). When one of the lovely waiting staff came over to see if we were ok, we mentioned that the fries were cold. She went to see the chef and came back and said apparently that is they way they are served !!! What a load of rubbish ! Since when are cold chips a thing ?? Come on ! Thankfully the next morning the breakfast was ok. I would stay again, but only for bed and breakfast. A real shame but I expected better from a supposedly 4 star hotel.

Stay away if vegetarian !!! Arrived 20 mins early for table to be turned away (even though they were lots of empty tables ) Went back 20 mins later to be sat at one of the empty tables ! 2 vegetarian options . Chose mushroom stroganoff to be told they had just ran out and only had a spiced dish left ! Disappointing stay

Our first time here. The waitress was really excellent and very friendly but clearly overly busy. The food took a long time to arrive (nearly an hour) but she was apologetic - hoping it’s just a case of getting staffing levels and procedures adjusted. Was a bit surprised to see a 10% service charge on the bill considering that though. The food itself was nice and attractively presented, but a little bland. Will probably try again in the future.

Lovely menu, we arrived just before the early bird menu finished and were able to choose between both the a la crate and the early bird menu (early bird menu is great for the kids). Fish dishes and steaks are amazing, wide range of mains and starters to suit many palates. Great service and a lovely setting

We had a 3 course meal in Prego restaurant as part of an hotel package deal. The food was very well presented, quality ingredients and delicious. The service in the restaurant for both drinks and food was excellent and we shall definitely return.

Hi, Had a lovely anniversary meal with my wife. Food was pretty good and wine well priced. Lights would be better turned down a little as very bright. Main issue was the service. Maybe understaffed- we had lots of hanging around (45 mins to wait for a starter not great) and then waited ages to order out dessert . First world problems I guess. Would recommend if but service would need to improve.

Overall we had a good night - our waitress was really nice and working the tables on her own but service was very slow and my my calamari starter was pretty average, followed by my prawn tagliatelle main which turned up with only prawn shells in it (no actual prawns inside). The Santiago beer was however very nice. Early days for this place and hope they find their feet. Will try again in a few months' time!

Booked with the family for our wedding anniversary, food was excellent, which is why you go for a meal, what let it down was the service for drinks, we were told take a seat we will get your drinks order, so we waited a little too long to be fair, and it wasnt busy, so we got our own at the bar, when the food arrived, everyone was served together and quickly, still nobody to follow up on drinks and we went to the bar again, if they hadnt said we will sort your drinks it wouldnt have bothered me, hence the low mark for service, but hey ho, as I said the food made up for it very tasty with good quantity, will we go back, absolutely yes we will, but we will just get our own drinks from the start I think.. Lovely tasty food ...

We ate in the restaurant two nights running when staying for two nights in the hotel . Our meal was part of a package we booked for dinner bed and breakfast. A three course meal was included from a set menu. There was plenty of choice to choose from. The quality of the food was exceptional, I had the cod the first night and stone bass the second night both meals were very tasty and of good size portions , my husband had the chicken and his also was of similar quality. The starters and desserts were also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals and would definitely eat there again if travelling in the area. The breakfasts were also of good quality and choice. The service in the restaurant and bar was also excellent even though the restaurant was very busy, the staff were friendly and professional and looked after us really . well. The décor in the restaurant is modern and tasteful and creates a great atmosphere. We would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant and hotel.

Booked a table at the Antler bar & terrace for my 15yr wedding anniversary since we we got married at the venue. On arrival there was another wedding that had taken place so there was lots of guests & photographer in the venue. Service at the bar was very slow as there was only 1 person serving until another arrived. The table that had been reserved was right next to the bar so as it was busy it felt like we were joined by many of the wedding party. The food was served quickly and was delicious. Great value for money. Portion size was plentiful, so much so I had no space for dessert.
