Went here and tried the 3 meat roast , Was a deal for 3 courses as well , thought as it’s the deal might get small portions , however this wasn’t the case!! The 3 meat roast was literally 3 full meat servings and was absolutely beautiful!!! I struggled to finish it but got there in the end! Dessert was also lovely, had the sticky toffee pudding was just perfect for me, it’s just a shame this pub isn’t walking distance for me as would be there most weekends for the food!

Place is amazing food good but waited 1 hour before eating our stater Breakfast was amazing really enjoyed it and the room we stayed in was beautiful it’s the second time I have been there and would recommend it to everyone and will definitely be going back again soon

While staying at The Derwent Manor Hotel we had the pleasure of dining in The Prego Restaurant choosing from a three course evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Each course was absolutely delicious! All food was cooked and prepared to absolute perfection. We could not have been happier and can’t wait to return.

We had our girls night out here last night. First time trying here and it wont be the last. Food was lovely. Clean plates all round. The 3 courses for £10 is amazing value for money. The staff were friendly and the service was perfect. It definitely wont be long till we return.

We ate in a beautifully decorated dining room, surrounded by Christmas decorations and candles. The evening meal was excellent, we had starters of Trio of Bonbons and Smoked salmon, both were delicious. We followed with Confit of duck and Pork fillet. These were excellent, served with delicious sauces and lovely vegetables. The red cabbage with my duck was particularly good. To finish we had crème brûlée and sticky toffee pudding, a lovely end to our meal. For breakfast we both chose Eggs Benedict which was lovely, followed by toast and pastries. A great start to the day. The staff were attentive and pleasant, resulting in a very good experience.

Sunday lunch was lovely and portions wear really good size. Always good food from Farmers arms and their offers are well worth taking advantage of

Visiting for a birthday treat, we were very happy with all three courses of our dinner, along with a vey nice Malbec. Then, just to add to the experience, the breakfasts were also first rate.

Excellent Sirloin steak deal for 2 people £35 with a bottle of wine, choice of 4 sauces and a side. Came with 2 onion rings a tomato and a mushroom, highly recommended.

Eight of us went to the Italian Farmhouse for the Xmas Faye and we had a fabulous meal. Service was fantastic all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. 4 of us were vegetarians and it was a welcome change to see nut roast on the menu which was delicious. We will definitely be back and hopefully again before Xmas!

Fabulous food, piping hot and large portions. We did the 3 course for £10 and is worth double that. Service a little slow but think they’d had to get someone in to help due to a no show. Wouldn’t deduct from score as the rest between courses was great. I had pate, peppercorn chicken and apple crumble. Pave potato was with the chicken, fabulous. Roasted carrots and a really good peppercorn sauce, on chicken and a sauce boat. Crumble…too much, custard dreamy. My wife had potato skins (gave me half…hence I struggled) mushroom tagliatelle and sticky toffee pudding, oodles if sauce and ice cream. 2 lager shandies and would highly recommend

Fantastic all round

The restaurant was pleasant and the food was good - but not value for money. The service was very poor. We had to ask if we could get some pre drinks and we had already been sat waiting for about 15-20. We then had to stop someone to ask if we could place our order. Finally after our meal we had to find and ask if we could move to the lounge area for coffee. Needless to say we sat and waited for someone to take our order but no one came so again we had to stop a passing waiter to put an order in. Sadly the coffee was cold.

A surprising little gem! Attentive staff, great food and superb value for money.

Lovely 3 courses for £10 meal at the Farmers Arms wouldn’t hesitate to book again, quiet low lighting atmosphere was great, tables not too close together and the menu was enough too choose from and something different for everyone, all were totally stuffed on leaving, absolutely lovely
