First time visiting for a carvery. Highly recommend, busy but understandable, lots of selection and not stingey on the meat neither. Will absolutely be returning

What a lovely pub. Great staff, lovely customers, a really friendly atmosphere. The steak and ale pie was a tasty and generous portion. The Mac cheese was lovely and even if both of these main meals had been poor we would have returned just for the chips! Just amazing! We were en route to the ferry and will definitely visit again next time.

After a walk round the marshes, we enjoyed the great variety of menu items plus fish specials, and what we had for lunch was delicious. We appreciated the yachting photos and animal paintings. Service was prompt and efficient, with no obligatory surcharge, and we all felt that the bill was good value.

Visited on a Monday at 6.30, Perfect in every way. Very clean, nice atmosphere not over crowded or rushed empty plates removed within seconds all food was hot, tasty and a wide selection of foods and sweets (puddings) Visited with 3 others (1st timers) who all now want to go again

Lovely food and really fresh and hot. Staff were lovely too and great atmosphere. However, it was busy and there seemed to be no organisation in regards to who was serving, who was directing people to their reserved tables etc. There was no indication what to do to find your reserved table - just stand in a huge huddle at the bar amongst people ordering drinks until a member of staff notices you.

Havnt been here in a long while and took my 9yrs old nuerodiverse daughter she ate more food than I've ever seen as it met ever criteria of a fussy eater without the pressure of a ordered meal. My parnter and I really enjoyed the experience, the food and value for money. Staff were polite, attentive and efficient. We shall be returning for sure.

We were pleasantly surprised -the food was delicious. Unfortunately we were almost put off by the curt, borderline rude, "greeting" we received from front of house. This was overturned by the friendly staff inside the restaurant. A bit pricey, and the 10% discount for teachers and NHS staff was not enjoyed as it was a Saturday.

Our second visit here to celebrate Dad's 89th birthday and we were not disappointed. Delicious good, great service and lovely , cosy atmosphere made for a very enjoyable evening. Would definitely recommend a visit. Thankyou to all who looked after us

Amazing Sunday lunch!! Perfect carvery with 2 or 3 choice of meats all home cooked veg and lovely cauliflower cheese! Highly recommended and excellent customer service!
