Fantastic food and service. Avocado and crab starter followed by pollo ripieni with zucchini and sautéed potatoes. Bottle of Torbato. All delicious. Friend had burrata, then seafood risotto. All delicious.

Great menu good quality of food, pleasant staff and comfortable surroundings always a pleasure to visit.

The food was good as it had been in the past. As always the young waiting on staff were friendly and efficient. But unfortunately the restaurant was very cold despite them plugging on a small fan heater. This did spoil the evening. The people on the table near us sat with their coats on as my wife did. This you don't want to do when you are having a meal.

Excellent service as always and very friendly staff. All the food was delicious. We chose from the midweek menu and it was excellent value for money. It was fairly quiet so not much atmosphere but that was fine as it meant we could talk.

Love eating at Verdes, menu is good. Service.is brilliant. Food presented well and good portions.

Been coming here for over 35 years, the food has been up and down. The food was spot on, my wife and I enjoyed both courses washed down with a nice bottle of house white. Service, staff and reception all very friendly. Must admit Tuesday is quieter and better than for that than Mondays.

Excellent breakfast

The car park was packed, which I thought odd for a Monday evening. We were greeted and offered a seat and a drink. When our friends arrived we were shown to our table. Service was very good, very considerate. The food was excellent, I enjoyed my scallops starter and king prawns main course. The IPA draught beer was also very good. Altogether a very pleasant evening, well worth a revisit.

We had a fabulous time, My Mums surprise birthday meal. 18 dining on the Sunday roast set menu. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly and nothing too much trouble. My only moan is I wished you were served more soup for the starter and you need to buy in some sauces . The steak was lovely and pink and the lamb shanks were delicious. The chef even made my mum a special (off the menu request) for prawns her favourite and omg they were amazing!! We had further guests come down after we had finished dining for drinks and a big slice of birthday cake, again staff were accommodating regards plates and serviette’s and we got a bonus 20% off the food bill. Everyone was impressed and would highly recommended CDJ the decor was beautifully done, toilets were spotless and just a really lovely venue. We can’t wait to return. Thank you CDJ for making my Mum’s birthday so special. Xxx

Sunday for lunch: the usual 5* experience, and very good value. The Fegatini (chili chicken livers)were delicious, the mushroom soup unusually creamy. Main courses were cod in tomato sauce, and salmon pasta: beautifully cooked, generous portions served very hot. A perfect meal. We can't work out why more customers were in there, though it was a very cold day.

Sunday lunch - As usual excellent quality ,tasty food. Well presented. Can't wait for next visit
