Visited New Years Eve, pre booked table for 2. Been many times and it’s always a relaxed, chilled experience in a beautiful building. Table ready on time. Bar and waiting staff very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food amazing as usual we just need to remember to order a few at a time and pace ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

Booked a table for 5, pleasantly surprised at no increase in price as New Years Eve. Despite being extremely busy our table was in an area that allowed us to enjoy conversations. Plenty of staff, of whom were very professional yet friendly giving excellent service. The food was high quality looked appealing, served hot, & tasted delicious- between us we had several different meals, all equally good. It was served in a timely manner, not too slow /fast. Drinks prices reasonable. Lovely environment to dine & celebrate New Year. We hadn’t visited for several years, but it definitely won’t be long before we return. Thank you to all the staff

Absolutely love it at the Water Witch! Great food, very reasonable price (especially from the lunch menu on weekdays), friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant location by the canal. It’s dog friendly too! Highly recommended!

Another great experience at CDJ, a great place to celebrate Boxing Day with the family, food was top class, chilled atmosphere.......10/10 !! again !!

Family Lunch We looked to book for 15-25 people (were finally 17) and were offered the private dining room. We were well looked after despite the pub being very busy and the food was very good (we had heard the pies were worth travelling for and this proved to be the case). One of the party ordered dirty fries - these came on a huge plate and I think most of us got to share in them.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch menu meal with friends between the festive and new year period. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food is lush and highly recommended. Only negative we give is ourselves and another table had to ask for the music to be tuned down four times over as it was hard to talk over it and kept being turned up. Apart from that wonderful place and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Lovely relaxing, chilled atmosphere in a very nice building. Met a friend here for lunch recently. We shared 5 plates off the menu which was probably just enough, especially if you want to squeeze in a dessert! Wine was good too! Will definitely return soon!

Excellent food with great range of choices to suit all tastes. Pleasant atmosphere and good, friendly service.

Couldn’t fault the food or staff. We were just disappointed that we seemed to be sat not quite in the restaurant meaning that people who had been to the rovers match came and stood around the table next to us and it just made us feel pressured to move as there wasn’t room for them to sit unless we moved up which really is not on when we hadn’t even finished paying for our food at that point. When you go somewhere nice to eat it’s not what you expect!
