Quattro’s – OrmskirkThis place consistently delivers. Food is exceptional , locally sourced ingredients. Not just your usual Pub grub. This place offers it all from 4 sharing boards as well as an endless main meals, lite bites and specials…..and just when you think you couldn’t eat any more…..then the dessert menu arrives!! Wow!! Just wow!!

Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe always enjoy a visit to the Lunesdale Arms - Friendly staff, lovely surrounds and excellent food.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleGood Sunday lunch with generous portions & very pleasant staff.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleBeen twice now had a carvery, really good, meats lovely and tender and then help yourself to everything else. Plus for this carvery is everuthing really hot and not luke warm like some places. All staff very kind and friendly. They do charge a service charhe on your bill though which first time was told could remove, but yesterday nothing was said. Don't mind paying as service is really good.
The Plough Inn – OrmskirkWe visited as a family of 4 adults for Sunday lunch. The food was delicious, very good portion sizes and hot. Would highly recommend
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleVisiting the area for the football match in May. Food was fantastic but the venue was very cold. Had to sit in coats. It needs some heating
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyWe had a lovely lunch at Finsley Gate Wharf on Sunday . Food was excellent . The canal side setting is great. Best of all was the friendly helpful staff .
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyBeautiful restaurant, food is top quality. Had a wonderful night out. The restaurant was very busy and the staff were excellent
Quattro’s – OrmskirkTasty meals. Lovely staff. Thank you
The Traders Arms – BlackburnLovely grazing board, plenty to eat. Drinks reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff. 2nd visit and already planning for another.
Rileys Taproom and Wine Bar – ChorleyVery nice food, had the Malaysian King Prawn curry which was really tasty. It can be hit and miss when pub restaurants have an extensive menu but not so at the Whitchaff, we’ve had a number of different dishes but always good. Minor criticism on a couple of the things we had, the starter olives were £4.50 but a tiny portion, plus my half and half desert/coffee wasn’t value for money at £8.50. The Bakewell tart which I think was actually a treacle tart was minuscule in comparison to my wife’s half and half but at this stage I was pretty full and happy after a great main course. Just needs to be a bit more consistent on size.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAnother excellent meal at Verdes - efficient service, food excellent, lovely staff. It was busy on the Tuesday night (Pizza & pasta £6.95)- so book in advance to secure your table. Highly recommended
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWe had food from the lunch menu. Great options, lovely food and good quality ingredients.and very reasonable prices. 5stars to the chef! The venue is very clean, the atmosphere is very friendly being a family run pub who chatted to us about upcoming work being done to the beer garden and other events upcoming. We will be back very soon and look forward to the new outside area. 5stars from myself and friends.
